Now halfway through their holiday they had decided to celebrate that it was 6 months ago they finally took the last step to be together despite what their kids would say, it was the best thing they ever had done for themselves and their families, they were both much happier and more carefree now.
No hiding in the shadows, no lying, no pretending. Well still a bit hiding but not for long now, they had talked it over and had decided that they wanted to come clean to the fans once their vacation was over.
They had already taken tons of pictures of themselves kissing, sitting close and holding hands, looking at each other very much in love, very loved up snaps, so that no one would be in doubt about them.
Shane looked at Nicky laying down on the sunbed soaking up the sun, working on his tan, he's heart burst with joy and love, God how he loved him, he was his everything.
His mind wandered back to the very first time they had met, when Nicky was in audition for coming into the band.
As he presented himself as Nicholas Byrne, Shane had looked up, his husky voice and his good look, had immediately drawn him, his eyes had not left him and he felt weak as he began to sing, Shane had looked hypnotised at that cute blond guy with that husky voice, secretly hoped and prayed that no one else could sing like him.
There was just something about him that spoke to him and he really wanted to know him better. Shane almost jumped up and screamed yes when he heard that he was in, but he had to control himself, he had tripped with anticipation when he finally should meet him probably, as they shook hands, smiled at each other and their eyes met, a electricity ran though them, Shane lost his voice, he couldn't speak looking into his blue mesmerising eyes. There he didn't quite knew what had hit him, but soon he found out.
Nicky had looked at him questing, then he had said
"Nice to meet you, I'm Nicholas, my friends call me Nicky"
Shane had somehow found his voice again
"Nice to meet you Nicky, I'm Shane"
They had smiled at each other again, and then Nicky moved on leaving Shane confused back, battling with what he had felt there and inside the audition room, he didn't know why he had felt weak looking at him and he surly didn't knew why he couldn't speak looking into his eyes, never in his life, had he been dawned to another guy like that.......he was quiet the rest of the day, didn't wanted to speak with Mark and Kian, his mind kept whirling around his behaviour around Nicky.
That night when he finally felt asleep Nicky popped into his dreams, next morning when he woke up, his heart was acing, he couldn't wait to see Nicky again, and he was restless until that time came.
Finally, they all should meet up again, to see how their harmonies fitted together, and how they would share the upcoming songs. When Mark, Kian and Shane walked into the studio, Nicky and Bryan was already there.
Nicky had looked up and quickly he had captured Shane's eyes, and send him a smile. Shane had felt weak once again, his knees had turned to jelly and his heart was beating fast in his chest, he tried to force himself to keep walking, but his legs wouldn't, in a matter of seconds Nicky was over by him, he had looked him in the eyes and then he had said hi.
Once again Shane had lost his voice and couldn't speak when he looked into his eyes, Nicky had looked at him again and then he took his hand, the same electricity ran through him again, he thought about pulling his hand to him, but couldn't cause Nicky held on tight, dragging him along to the rest of the lads, they had sat down next to each other and then they began to talk.
Shane had finally found his voice again, but lost it everytime he looked into Nicky's blue eyes, he had excused himself and walked out to the bathroom, he had locked the door and cursed at himself, he had to get himself together, they had to find out how their voices would fit together, he had taken some deep breaths before he walked out again, busy with his own thoughts he had stumbled into Nicky and felt down.
