AUTHOR's POV
EAZY-E

She slowly blinked open her eyes, wincing as the sunlight hit her newly opened eyes. She began to take in her surroundings, the IV in her arm made it clear where she was. How the hell did she get in a hospital? Wasn't she just...

Her eyes widened and she tapped the red button on the side of her bed for the nurse. She had to get out of here, she needed to see him. The nurse quickly came in along with the head doctor, shocked to see their patient finally awake. 'It's a miracle!' The nurse beamed with excitement as she began to examine the woman. She let them examine her, blanking out. How long has been in this hospital? Where was Eric?

'How long have I been here?' Her brown eyes locked with the nurse's, who's softened. 'A year. You've been in a coma for a year'

'Has anyone come to visit me?'

'No. You were presumed dead at the scene. Our EMT's brought you here and you had a faint heartbeat. We quickly preformed surgery, but you there was a possibility you would not wake up. You had no identification on your body. You were our Jane Doe' The doctor spoke, making her heart sank. She was dead to the world, but here she was alive and well. She wanted to get out of here, no she needed to. She needed to see him. After all, the last thing she told him was she loved him.

'When can I leave?' She said bluntly and the doctor chuckled. 'We'd have a few tests to run, but after that you're free to go, Miss—'

'Sandy. My name is Sandy'

A FEW WEEKS LATER.

She was happy to be out of the hospital. She was happy to be back into the real world, it was like she got a second chance at life. She was going to live it to the fullest. She wanted to see him, if she could find him. But first she needed a change of clothes, a good long shower, and a new hairstyle. The hospital wasn't too far from her hood so she walked there. Entering her home town, she looked at the environment. Nothing had changed, it seemed like time moved slow. Everything was the same. The same people that was begging for money a year ago, was still there begging. And thugs were still at the their corner.

'Aye! Shorty! With the fat ass! Let me holla at you'

'Damn! Her ass fat as fuck!'

'Wait a min...Sandy?!' One of the males recognized her, and for once she was happy to talk to them. She crossed the street to their corner, a smile printed on her face. He took a good look at her, trying to see if this was the same woman who he heard was dead. 'Yo they said yo ass was dead a year ago! You still looked good. How you still alive?' She made her long story short and told them a bunch of doctors saved her.

'Damn shawty. Glad to see you alive. If you ever need anything, holla at a nigga' She smiled and thanked him. Just as she was about to leave, she needed to ask the male a question. 'Have you seen Eazy?' She asked, calling Eric by his street name. 'That lil nigga went and became a rapper. He in a group with a few other niggas. They call themselves N.W.A, niggas with attitude' Her eyes widened, he actually went and became a rapper. It was his dream, and he did it. She was proud of him, but for some reason she felt sad. Was it because she wasn't there with him? By his side?

She thanked the guy and parted ways, not before he gave her a couple of hundreds to help her get back on her feet. When she entered her old apartment, she was shocked to see everything intact. She was also surprised when the superintendent told her someone kept paying her rent. She knew it was his doing. Taking a look around her apartment, each memory they shared swarmed her mind. She truly missed the person she loves.

Once she showered and got out the clothes the hospital gave her, she finally felt like herself. While in the shower, Sandy thought about how she'd find Eric, and what she would say to him. She hoped he'd thought about her final words on that, hoping he also loved her just like she did wit him. But, before she would go and see him, she needed to get a job. She always dreamed of going to college and becoming a business woman. But, that dream has to wait. She needed her Eazy with her.
