I'm a childerns dance teacher in Brooklyn New York. I've been working here for five years, been living here for my whole life.

I always have wondered what these stitches I have on my hand and my head mean. My parents told me there's a reason for them but I need to find that someone first- my soulmate.

"I guess we'll just have to wait and see," I whisper to myself with a sigh, getting ready for the first dance class of today.

I was walking around the park like I do everyday, I love the park. I always go by this huge tree and just lay there for hours, getting lost into my own thoughts.

So- I walk to the tree, so a lonely boy there as well. I walk over, he never looked up. "Hey.. you alright?" I ask, sitting down next to him. He shook his head and took a deep breath. "What's wrong?" He looked up, staring at me with red eyes. "I'm Thomas- by the way." He cried, I didn't know what to do.

"Do you want a ride home or anything? I'm happy to help you.." He sniffed and shook his head again. "I-I don't have a home." He breathed. The sky started to turn grey and raindrops started coming down. "Come on, come with me." I got to my feet and put out my hand- which he didn't take. "What are you doing?"

"Do you think I'm going to let you sit out here in the freezing rain by yourself?" He nodded.

"I'm used to it. I technically live here.." He said sadly. I just feel so bad, he seems so innocent and fragile he doesn't deserve it. "Well I don't want you to be out here in the cold, come on. We'll go to my dance studio." He finally took my hand as I pulled him up, the rain fell harder as we walked to my car.

Once we got in he spoke up. "Sorry for all the trouble, it's just hard being all alone. I don't have a family anymore, I don't have a friend to count on." He said with tears in his eyes. I put a hand on his shoulder. "You can count on me, I'll be your friend." He smiled and mouthed a thank you, looking out the window as I drove. He sniffed.

"Names Newt, by the way."
