Taehyung met many attractive people before.

He took them on dates, kissed them, even had sex with a hand full of them. It somewhat gave him a confidence boost whenever he managed to coax his way into the bed of a goodlooking man. He loved it. Loved flirting. Loved attention. Loved sex.

But when he met Jungkook that somehow didn't apply anymore, the confidence that is. It's like it vanished, poured out of his body and left him in a puddle of nervousness. And there were many, so many things he didn't understand.

The shyness, for example. The glances, the smiles. The fireworks dancing across Taehyung's skin whenever his and Jungkook's hands brushed together. That. That was the part he didn't understand. How he was so vulnerable around Jungkook, how easy he faltered.

"Jiiiiin." Taehyung whined for the 5th time that day after making sure Jungkook was out of sight, hugging Seokjin from behind and covering him in flour. "Why does he have to look so good can't you kick him out?" He stumbled when Jin removed him from his back, propping his arms against the sink. "Please? I can't work like this."

"I'm pretty sure I'd have to kick you out if that's the case," Seokjin mumbled, hiding the grin that wanted to break out so badly by tugging his bottom lip in between his teeth and he continued to knead the bread dough thoroughly with his palm. Taehyung watched, unimpressed.

"And how about you- I don't know. Ask him out?" Seokjin failed to hide his grin this time and stared right through Taehyung, pausing his movements. "Isn't that like what you usually do? Go on a date, have sex and feel better? Maybe minus the date. You could just have sex if that's all you want."

Taehyung rolled his eyes towards the ceiling. He went on dates before without having sex in mind, he could do that.

"Ha-Ha, very funny." He scoffed, trying his hardest not to cross his arms and get defensive. "This is different. He's- He's different. I think."

"And why do you think that?"

Taehyung hesitated. "Well. I do want to have sex with him like- god the things I'm willing to do to this man-"

"TMI!" Seokjin quickly shouted and placed the dough in another bowl, covering it with a cloth and pushing it away to let it rise for the next hour or so. "I don't care about your weird kinks."

Taehyung giggled and followed behind Jin, making sure Jungkook was nowhere to be seen. "Right but it's- I guess it's not all sexual? I mean I would love to just hold his hand or- or I don't know. Watch a movie together, maybe. Or go for a walk so he can tell me about his family or friends or I don't know, anything!"

Yeah, that was true. Taehyung was sure he wanted to get to know Jungkook, be more than just coworkers and definetely more than friends. Although friends would be a great start, too.

"Damn you really- nevermind. I think you should-„ Seokjin locked the front door, frowning. He turned back to Taehyung who was waiting patiently for an answer. "Just- ask him out for gods sake. It can't be that hard, you talk- flirt all the time, don't you?"

"But that's different!"

Taehyung took his apron off when they walked back into the kitchen, folding it neatly on one of the counters. He could easily just flirt his way into Jungkook's heart and hope for the best but that just sounded so wrong, like- he shouldn't. He shouldn't just blindly stumble into this whole thing, he didn't know Jungkook well enough.

"Alright guys! I'm gonna- gonna head out. S' kinda late." Jungkook yawned, emerging from the back, stretching his arms. His dark hair was falling into his eyes and he had flour sticking to his cheek. Taehyung smiled, giving him a wave. „Bye-„
