A loud screech filled the room, my sensitive hearing kicks in and I put my hands on my ears, which didn't help in any way shape or form, but it was worth the time.

"Whoops, sorry." My dad said. Everyone chuckled then it all went quiet.

"Right, well. Happy eighteenth birthday to my beautiful baby princess, and I really don't care what you say you'll always will be a baby in my eyes. Anyway, you are the best daughter I, sorry we, could have ever have wished for and believe me when I say that you have me and your mother so proud at everything. I know you aren't fond of this lifestyle but you don't show it. Just know that we love you and your brother so much that it's unreal! Now, Alpha Jay has a message." Then a tall muscular man came to the microphone.

"Hello everyone, happy birthday your majesty. I'm just coming to say that there has been a treaty struck, we will be moving onto this land to protect everyone and get protection ourselves. We will be calling a meeting tomorrow as it is the princesses birthday today so we won't say the details, however if you are interested come to the Houses of Parliament tomorrow at 3:00pm. On with the party."

Okay that was weird. But, what happened after was even weirder.

"Hey guys, sorry I'm beta Isaac, and I would just want to tell you all that the princess is mine. Don't even think about touching her! Now you all have a nice night." Then he left the stage.

My mouth was wide open, and I knew that I was bright red, I mean of course I had been embarrssed but nothing could have prepared me for that.

"Lilac, why didn't tell us that you had found your mate?" my mum shouted as she came over.

"Well, I only just found out myself. And to be honest you knew that I never wanted to find my mate, especially at this age." I told her.

"Me and your father found out at your age and we turned out fine. A few crazy people got in the way but we still made it. So why can't you?" Oh yeah, I forgot about Destiny, Jared and Rachel. Which brought something to mind.

"Oh God mum, I forgot to ask, have they located the Jared Copy Cat yet?" I asked. she gave me a look, and you all know that look. The mum look.

"It's your birthday, we will talk tomorrow!" She stated.

Oh jeez.

Well, you see. Someone quite likes what Jared did to us, he hates us and the royal family but he especially hates Gold Wolves. I don't know what it is about my family that he hates, I just know that he does.

"Fine, but you are telling me everything!" I tell her, she nods, knowing that I will never let it go.

Just after she walks away, I could smell him before I felt him but he wrapped his arms around my waist and nuzzled his nose into my neck. I know that I said that I was never going to want a mate at this age he was still my mate, so give me a bit of credit, I'm not really going to jump into bed with him am I?

"What's up?" He asked.

"You'll find out soon enough, just now I want to dance with my mate, though I'm a bit annoyed that that was the way that I found out you name." I told him, he just chuckled. By this point i had turned in his arms and wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Okay, we can do that." He told me. I just laughed. Swaying to the music.

"Oh by the way, my alpha is gay." He just said casually.

"Yeah, and?" I asked. He looked at me like I was stupid.

"And, I know that your brother is as well, before you bite my head off its because of Jay, Jays his mate." He told me.

Oh Jeez.

"How does he know, Ethan is only 17?" I asked. Isaac just shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't know, he just does."

"Right I'm going to find him." I got out of Isaacs arms and walked in the direction of my brothers scent.

As I got closer I was wishing that I hadn't. They were doing more then me and Isaac had done. Literally I am so surprised that Ethan had even got a face left.

"Oh! I shouted." They stopped kissing and turned towards me.

"Oh, hey sis." Ethan rubbed the back of his neck, which is what he did when he was embarrassed or nervous.

"No way do you get to be embarrassed." I told him, he knew why I was annoyed. It wasn't to do with the fact he was gay, I was the first person he told. No it was because I didn't know about his mate and had to find out through my mate.

"Well, thanks for telling me. Thats greatly appreciated." I said to him, sarcastically.

"I was going to tell you, but well, I actually wanted to snog him first." He told me.

"Well, I suppose I can forgive you. If you leave me alone with your mate for a few minutes." As soon as I said it, his eyes widened.

"No, no way. Thats how all my last boyfriends/girlfriends broke up with me." As soon as he said it Jay growled and his eyes were pitch black.

"Crap. No Jay , they were all in the past, you are the only man for me." He ended up calming Jay down by kissing him.

"Okay, now he's calm. Move your arse mate." I made Ethan go and talk to Isaac. Then I turned towards Jay.

"Right, I couldnt care lass if you were God, I'm going to do a big sister thing so don't go all alpha on me!" He nods, "Okay, right. If you break his heart or him in any way, me and Spark will hurt you in every way possible and I know people who can cover up a murder. And he is an annoying kid but only I can tease him about it, on less I say that you can. Which in your case you can, but basically don't hurt him and we will be fine. Understand?' I told him. He nodded.

"I can't promise many things but I can promise that I will never hurt Ethan on purpose and if I do, then I'll spend eternity making up for it." I nodded.

"Okay, and welcome to the family!" I hugged him, but then I heard a growl behind me.

"Are you kidding me? Isaac, I was only welcoming Jay to the family. Don't go all possessive on me, okay?" He nodded but his eyes were black. I did the only thing that I could think of.

I kissed him.
