My eyes started to flutter,they did this until they cracked open.

As soon as they opened they shut again to shut out the light, I then opened them again and they stayed open finally adjusting to the light.

No one was in the room so I was just sat there waiting, until Isaac walked in.

As soon as he saw me his eyes widened.

"Li, how long have you been awake?" I shrugged.

"Only a few minutes. Where is everyone?"

"They are in the Café. Everyone was worried about you, I was worried about you." His cheeks went a bit red from embarrassment. I just laughed.

"Your so cute."

"I'm a Beta. I'm not meant to be cute, I'm meant to be manly and stuff." He huffed.

"I love how you said and stuff instead of naming something else." 

"What can I say, I love to please." I smiled at my mate.

"So. How long was I out?"

"Three days." My eyes just about fell out of my head.

"What the hell. How did I not heal?" He shook his head.

"I don't know. You should have."

"What... what happened to the guy?" As soon as I saw his face I knew the answer.

"Well. That bastard got what was coming to him." He smiled.

"There's the princess I know. And that I love very much." He said it as if I wouldn't say it back.

"You really love me?"

"I wouldn't say it if I didn't."

"Good. Cause I love you too."

Then my parents walked in, followed by Ethan and Jay.

"Hey hunny. How are you?" Mum asked.

"I'm okay. Just achy but okay."

"Have you told her yet?" Everyone looked at Isaac.

"No. Not yet." He looked down and I saw something in his eye. A tear.

"What? What's happened?"

"The bullet. It ripped through you. It was tainted with wolfsbeest. It got infected almost straight away, and it went through your stomach. Where your uterus is. It caused mass amounts of bleeding. They had to remove your tubes and your uterus. I'm sorry Li, we can't have kids. Even this can't be healed by gold wolf healing." I couldn't accept this.

"No, no, no way. I can't not be a mother. You can't not be a father." I just couldn't. I broke down. Tears were running out of my eyes and snot dripping from my nose, I Isaac climbed on to the bed and rocked me. He cuddled me and did everything he could.

Mum and dad soon left to give us space while Ethan and Jay went to find something to eat in the cafeteria.

"I'm so, so sorry baby." He kept apologising.

"What for? It's not your fault."

"Yes it is. If I would have protected you or done something to help then maybe we wouldn't be sat here right now. We'd be out there finding these people that are targeting you and your family."

I just leaned forward and kissed him.

"Just stop blaming yourself. You need to put all your energy into finding these scumbags. Okay?" He nodded.

"Alright. Now I'm gonna sleep and please. Can you just hold me?" He smiled and nodded.

"Good." He wrapped his arms around me and kept them there, I soon fell into a deep slumber.

'I'm going to get you. I'm going to get you and your precious family and there's nothing you can do.' I heard a chuckle.

'You'll never be queen. Not as long as I'm around.'

'Goodbye Lilac.'

Okay so I know it's not very long but I wanted to give you something just so you know I haven't given up on this book.

I'm not going to promise when the next update will be cause I don't know.
