I headed to the funeral home where my mother was buried. got out the car placing flowers on her grave. Minutes later I started tearing up and crying on her gravestone. "I miss you mama. I wish you were here with me." I said crying out for her.
Only having my mother around the first four years of my life was very hard for me to get over the past 10 years and to be raised by my grandmother
After an hour I headed back home to get dressed for church and my grandmother was lying in the bed sleeping. "Nanna you okay" she didn't respond to me went to her bed and shook her still not responding. I got scared and started shaking her harder. "Nanna Nanna" she finally woke up. I forgot that she was one of those deep sleepers. "Where you going dressed up." "It's Sunday and mothers day you don't wanna go to church." I asked her "no child I Don already went to church today you going" "yeah I just got back from mommas grave" I said fixing up my tie. Gone head and get to church I'm taking a nap. "Happy mothers day Nanna"
