The Flame of Friendship

The ocean prince felt sad that day so he swam to his parents' memorials and stared at the coral covering the bodies. He sat calmly and closed his eyes feeling the currents in the water. He feels an uneven feeling in the water so he swims up with only his eyes visible. It was broad daylight so he couldn't go to the surface. He saw a spruce boat swimming his way full force so he quickly ducked under the water as the boat swam fast. It was the fire prince! He held his head underwater with his eyes showing above he saw the fire prince. "Hello fish boy! Nice to see you again!" The fire prince smiled, the ocean prince made an angry look with his eyes, he didn't like being called 'Fish Boy' . He had a name, it was Para. though he then relised he didn't even know the fire prince name. He couldn't say much so he signaled the fire prince to stay their as he went down underwater and grabbed a sign and carved into it. He asked "I know you a bit and yet i don't know your name" the ocean prince noted as he had the sign poking out of the water. "Oh! My name is Ash" the fire prince or Ash said happily. Para responded with a fin wiggle of his ear fins. Showing happenies. Ash smiled at the cute boy then slightly shook his head to get the thought out.

The next day they meet at the shore and this time Para was sitting on the sand in the ocean while talking to Ash. for some reason the sun wasn't burning him much, he normally cant even show his scales with the sunlight, he would get dehydrated you could say. Ash took note, he wondered why, maybe because there was still part of him in the water? Hm ash was curious and smiled at the happy fish boy in front of him. Ash and Para were very fond of each other and spent hours talking. "If you could do anything right now in the world, what would it be?" para asked happily. Ash took a second to think, "I would spend it here with you." he smiled warmly at para who felt his face turn kinda pink and he smiled back. Ash felt a protective urge for para. He wanted the best for the fish boy.

The sun started to set and the boys watched the moon rise, para seemed amazed. "Why do you look so surprised?" Ash asked curuis. "Even though i can come up during night i don't get to see the moon rise all that much.. It's so nice. I love getting to see this, especially with you." Para smiled, his face turning pink so does ash's but para panicked, "D-Don't take it like that!" he laughed nervously. "Oh I took it like that," Ash smiled. Para sighed and leaned slightly into ash. Ash's cheeks turned pink. They smiled and watched the moon rise.
