Water Waves

(A/N the long awaited chapter 3, i hope you guys like it! This chapter focuses on Para the next ill focus of Ash, enjoy)

It's been 3 weeks since Para and Ash met and they were having so much fun. Though, something happened. Para woke up but he wasn't his true self. His happy joyful self. He started off by putting on his royal clothing and his crown. His eyes rested half open. He grabbed his trident and looked outside the castle, it hasn't been cleaned for who knows how long and it disgusted Para. Or at least, this Para. He scoffed and walked out and started talking to his 'subjects' he was talking to fish and axolotls but to him he saw them as his people. He saw them like fish.

Ash put on his respiration helmet and went underwater, steam came off of him but it didn't hurt. He saw the state of the castle and wanted to help so he started cleaning it. He wanted to surprise Para with a clean castle; he was almost done until he saw the ocean prince. He looked at him and smiled at Para but then realized something was off. It worried him but he didnt care. Or at least until Para swam up holding Ash by the collar of his shirt pointing the trident at him.

Ash was confused but stood his ground. "What are you doing here! Who are you! What do you want!?" Para yelled. It wasn't Para. "I will ask you, who are you? You are not Para.'' Ash stated. "I am the Ocean Prince. I am the ruler of this realm while my parents are away. Now I will ask you again. Who are you? What do you want? What are you doing here?" he asked once more. Ash knew this wasn't right. Para's parents died in the ice age just like Ash's family did. He had to help Para. Something took over him, his voice was deeper and more serious and it kinda spooked Ash. he sighs and takes hold of Para's arm. "I'm Ash and you know that. I'm here to help clean." ash states ''I'm also here to see you. Para." Para jolted. He growled in response and backed away and threw the trident at Ash. He dodged and started swimming. Para though was faster and summoned his trident back. He threw it once more and it pinned Ash to a piece of coral.

Ash yelped slightly, the trident hooked onto his hoodie's hood keeping him in place. Para swam up to Ash, he stood over him growling. "You are part of the Fire Empire aren't you?" he asked. "Yes. and you aren't the royalty of the Ocean Empire any more! You don't even use the label 'Prince' anymore!" Ash tried to get through to Para. "No! When mum and dad get back you will be charged with trespassing and threatening royalty!" Para snapped. Ash knew there was only one way to get through to him. "Unhook me and I will give you proof your parents are dead." Ash stated bluntly. Para's eyes widened. He swam up to him and let him go. Ash leads Para to the Tomb Of Royalty. The coral with signs saying Para's mother and fathers names. Para stood shocked and tears floated in the ocean. He turned to Ash once more and grabbed his hoodie collar once more. "HOW DARE YOU! NO I WON'T BELIEVE IT! THEY ARE JUST GONE TO DO TRADES!" Para yelled, his sharp teeth clenched. "Para. they died in the ice age at least 1200 years ago. You and I were only frozen and passed out." he calmly states, gripping Para's arm once more.

Para fell to his knees and held them close to his chest. "No.. I can't believe it..they have to be out there." Para placed his head in his knees. Ash walked over and sat down next to him, trying not to float up. He placed a hand on his shoulder and Para flinched. "What happened to them?.." Para asked. Ash told the legion of the kingdoms and empires.

Para sighed and got covered in bubbles, it spooked Ash out a bit and so he scooched away and next thing he knew the bubbles pop and there was the original Para who wore his shark onesie and no crown. He opened his eyes and looked at ash with a tear stained face. "You alright now?" Ash asked. "I wanna go up and walk around." Para states weakly. "Okay let's go.'' It was night time and Para and Ash walked on the surface.
