"Hi, you are so early" i said in a mocking way
"Hi Fernanda, i am sorry got stuck in traffic...you know how it is" he hugged me
"It's been so long, how have you been vincent?"
"I am good Fernanda, after you left hector sent me to boot camp"
"You have always been like a kid to me, i missed you"
"I missed you too" he said hugging me again, oh this boy is a softy but a mascular softy

"Okay okay" i patted his shoulders "let's get inside and talk"

Vincent 's pov
"So how's everything going on Fernanda?"
"Ohh it was fine untill you..." She paused and the tension was visible on her face.
"I'll do anything to protect her" i have already made my mind after i got to know about my father's murderer but i need some answers from her as well.
"Fernanda, can i ask you something?" I said with a straight face
She nodded her head in a yes
"Did you know that hector killed my father?"
I said seriously fuming with anger now
"No what?" She said almost screaming "no no i never...what? Hector did that???? but he said it was the rivalry of other mafia" she said crying
"I know Fernanda, he lied...he lied to me all these years and yesterday he said the truth just because he is selfish again for his money"
"Ohh vincent, i am so sorry" still crying....
I hugged her again... comforting her with my words.
"I have a plan" she suddenly said
"What plan?" I was shocked with the sudden plan thing.
After fifteen minutes
"Seriously Fernanda, this is your plan, she'll be so scared. You can't do that to your daughter" i said irritated with all this plan thing now ...
"Yes, please vincent...she won't understand. I know she'll be so scared but this is the only plan...she is so naive so fragile...she won't understand any of this"
"I need to think...she needs be protected, i can tell her...she'll be fine coming with me"
"She doesn't even remember you vincent"
"But i do" i said almost blushing, reallyyy vincent not now
"Okay whatever, i know my daughter...i know vincent you have always liked her but she is a different person now...i don't know why, but she is... something is wrong..she doesn't share anything with me but i am her mother" i can the tear again
"Don't worry Fernanda, i am here now...only for her..to protect her" to love her....i didn't said the last part.. obviously.
"I have to leave now, I'll let you know when to implement the plan" she said standing up from her chair
"Why not tomorrow?" I asked
"Her vacations are on...she won't be leaving the house for most of the time...she is safe untill her colleges starts again" ohh okay
for how long do i have to wait????
"For how long?"
"For a month"
Okay i can wait for a month to see her
I can wait for a month to meet her
Ohh this month better be quick!
"Okay, I'll meet you later"
I got up and hugged her a goodbye.
Fernanda's pov
I got home with a sleeping alina on the couch, i know she is so happy that her vacations has started but she looks sad, i wish I could understand what's going on in her mind. She looks hurt most of the times...but when i ask her..she says everything is fine..so i let go of the conversation right there...
I wish I was able to save my daughter from every bad experience. I wish.
She doesn't even let anyone come near her...she looks so scared...or maybe she is
I remember a month back when she came home crying and went straight to her bedroom...
I asked her if something has happened, she just cried whole night..she didn't said anything. I thought i lost my her somewhere...she looked so lifeless, it was evident on her face that something bad has happened but she was not ready to tell me anything...
Then i decided to take her to the doctor...she didn't said anything there as well.
Doctor prescribed some medicines.
Medicines that's how she lives now.

I didn't noticed that i was crying untill a hand wiped my tears and there she was sitting in a sleepy form.
"You okay mom?" She asked in a sleepy voice
"Yes honey, it's just the stress i guess" i lied
"Ohh mom, it's fine..you'll get through this easily" she said hugging me
These hugs...vincent and alina really loves to give hugs..
I didn't notice untill now...both if them used to hug each other when one used to get hurt or injured.
Do alina remember vincent?
It'll be awkward if I'll ask.
"Yeah, what would you like to eat" i said changing the topic
"Whatever you'll make mom" she said almost falling back asleep
"Okay, i'll make ramen for both of us then" i said in a light tone
She woke up straight and hugged me again..."okayy"
We ate ramen and head to our rooms.
I hope this time passes by a little quicker

"It's her college tomorrow" i said nervously on the call, actually i am scared
"Okay Fernanda, I'll be ready...but Fernanda there's something i need to tell you" okay why do i feel it's something bad!!!!
"Yeah what is it?" I asked waiting patiently for him to say something from the other side of the phone
"Hector ordered me to kidnap alina today"
"What???? Why???" I am so angry at this man
How dare he??
"I agreed Fernanda, because at the end of the day alina's protection is important, you don't worry no one will be able to come near her untill i am alive" he said confidently
"Thankyou vincent, i trust you, please don't hurt her"
"I can never hurt her Fernanda" i heard sadness in his voice
"Okay, I'll text you the timing then"
"Okay"
She'll leave around 10:00 in the morning and her class will end at 2:00pm.

I sent the message and got a reply
I will always protect her Fernanda. Trust me
He said in the text. I trust you vincent, i just don't trust that jerk of a man.
