It was a terrible day, it kept raining and raining and I thought it would never end. It only got worse. I decided to invite the boys over, since I had nothing to do today. I was best friends with them for as long as I could imagine. I rung Ashton's phone, waiting for him to pick up.
"Hey Ash" I said.
"Hey Y/N, whats up?" He replied, boredom obvious in his voice.
"I'm bored, you guys wanna come over?" I asked. I could hear muffled shouting in the phone. A few seconds later I could hear more shouting and Ashton's giggle.
"They said yes and Michael said he would come if you get your Xbox set up" Ashton told me. I started laughing.
"Fine, just hurry up and get here I'm so so bored".
"Course" He said then hung up the phone. I put the phone down and kneeled by the TV attempting to plug in the Xbox, with success. A few seconds later I heard the door open and Michael walked in with controllers and games.
"I got the equipment" He told me before plugging them into the Xbox and playing some game I was not familiar with. Ashton and Luke walked in as Calum made his way towards the kitchen.
"Hey Y/N" Luke said and sat down with Michael playing the game. I looked towards Ashton.
"Thanks for coming over"
"No problem, it is horrible outside" He smiled, taking off his damp hoodie.
Nothing much really happened. Luke and Michael stopped playing the game and sat down with me, Calum and Ashton joining in on our conversation.
"We should play truth or dare" Michael suggested. I shook my head.
"Thats a terrible game" I argued. Ashton defended my statement, which I was very suprised by. He loves to play truth or dare.
"Come on, just a small game" Michael whined. I gave in.
"Fine" I sighed before sitting back against the sofa. Luke began walking towards me before stopping and going beside Calum opposite the room. He looked towards Ashton and nodded in my direction. He blushed and sat down beside me. I was really confused about what happened but I shrugged it off.
"I'll go first" Michael said.
"Luke truth or dare" Michael asked and gave Luke a 'pick dare or else' sort of stare, which Luke fell for.
"Uh, dare" He said. Michael grinned proudly and looked up as if deep in thought.
"Heres a silly dare, give Ashton a piggyback around the room" Michael giggled. Lukes eyes widened and Ashton nearly spit out his drink.
"But I'm too weak" Luke said, trying to get out of the dare.
"Chicken" Michael muttered. Calum bit his lip to stop himself from laughing, whereas I was so close to breaking.
"Fine, Ashton get onto the sofa, if you fall its not my fault" Luke told him.
"If I fall I will give you an even worse dare" Ashton threatened.
"Why me" Luke muttered before Ashton jumped onto Luke's back clutching onto his shoulders to restrain himself from falling.
"Ow" Luke shrieked leaning against the wall before he fell.
"I'm not that heavy" Ashton said. I hit the breaking point and started laughing hysterically, Calum and Michael following soon after.
"Not funny" Luke whined, and he started to walk slowly around the room. He soon stopped and let Ashton down gently before sitting back beside Calum, massaging his right shoulder.
"You ok" I asked.
"I'll be fine" He reassured me. "Ashton truth or dare" He asked.
"Truth" Ashton smiled.
"Have you a crush on someone" Luke winked. I looked at him confused.
"Uh um..yeah" Ashton stuttered, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Cute who is she" I asked.
"You don't know her" Ashton replied.
Everyone stayed silent, increasing the awkward tension in the air.
"I'm gonna go get a drink" Ashton said as he stood up. "Anyone want one" He asked. Everyone shook their heads and Ashton walked towards the kitchen.
"Its you" I heard Calum say. I looked up at him.
"What" I asked confused.
"Ashton likes you" He continued nervously. I gasped. I never knew Ashton liked me, maybe thats why he was acting weird all the time.
"Really" I gasped before realising, I was starting to like him too.
Ashton walked back into the room and I stood up and walked towards him. He put his drink onto the nearby table before looking at me confused as I grabbed his arm and lead him back into the kitchen.
"Whats wrong Y/N" He asked. I took a deep breath.
"I know who you like" I revealed. He looked away.
"Sorry" He apologised. "I didn't wanna say in case it ruined our friendship". I shook my head.
"No, I just realised, I like you too". He smiled. We both leant in before our lips touched and we both smiled sincerely.
