I have to admit, my subconsciousness did some great work by creating this enchanting scenery. I never had a dream this realistic, yet boring at the same time. Up until now at least.
At this point i'd really like to wake up.
I have been wandering around a mystical forest for an unknown amount of time, which however feels like days.
I didn't have the faintest idea that you could get tired while sleeping, or undergo pain, but i assure you: You can. I tripped over roots, rocks (and who knows what else) for atleast 5 times now. That could be due to the leck of my empirical knowledge about hiking. As i continue to wander around without a particular destination in mind, I perceive the smell of somthing putrid. In a trice my body goes stiff as i hear the sound of a cracking branch behind me moreover. Even tho it's not real, i'm immediately alarmed and i feel fear creeping into my bones. Before i can react, i feel a horrible pain at my backhead. I can't controle my muscles anymore. The midsection of my gut is becoming numb and is trying to escape out of the top of my ribcage. I notice myself going to the floor, but im falling so slowly as if someone was recording me with slow motion. Panicking i look around and my eyes catch a glimpse of a black dressed person before i hit the ground.
—
The first thing i notice as I gain consciousness is neither the disturbing rotten smell, nor the fact that im tied up. The first thing i acknowledge is indeed my hair.Furthermore: That my hair still is strawberry blonde and long. Which means that im still dreaming because my hair is not supposed to be strawberry blonde and long.
What the hell?My thoughts get interrupted as i suddenly hear footsteps approaching me. At this point i finally realize how disgusting the dark room im tied up in smells and that im tied up in a dark room that smells disgusting.
Abruptly the footstepps dissapear and i hold my breath because I dont even dare to breath, since it would disrupt this overwhelming silence which is perfectly equal to my state of Oblivion .
My heart skips a beat in shock as
someone whispers into my ear, so close i can feel their breath on my skin.
„Are you alright?" says the disembodied voice.
Startled, i forget to answer.
„ Don't be scared A- ." - „I'm trying to help you."
I could tell by his taut words that he was nervous, but i didn't get why.„Help me with what? Where did you take me? Don't even dare to think about ly-." I blurt out all at once as he strangels my penetrating voice by covering my mouth with his hand.
„Please, quiet down" he pleads under his breath. I bite his hand.
He backs away, but i can feel his presence.
I say nothing and wait.
„Okay listen, first I will get you out and than we will be able to talk. I need you to just trust me for a little longer"
With that he abandons me.It feels like hours have passed since that boy left me. I cant take this anymore. This must be the weirdest dream I ever had.
A ray of sunlight falls into the now slightly enlightened room. Therefore I can identify a window as it's ancestry. My aim is set.I recall that since it's a dream, I can do whatever i want, so I push myself to the back in order to fall to the ground. The chair breaks into pieces and unfortunately one pierces threw my skin and leaves an ugly wound on the side of my stomach. Then the pain hits me and all the air feels stuck in my lungs.
After i feel like i can get up i try to work on my tie ups.
I take a piece of the broken wood and use it too cut the rope. In the dim light i can recognize a candle holder. It seems perfect to break glass too.
So i throw it .I reach up to the window, now desperate to finally contain the sunlight. I struggle as i lift myself up and finally climb threw the window. As i gaze over the city of trees I am amazed where my dream brought me this time. The magical greens give me such a secure feeling, it was beautiful no majestic. The sunlight reached me through the leaves. Reached my skin and bones.
My eyes explore the view until I notice a gathering place that looks a lot like a market. Now curious I work my way down to a path wich leads me further into the town. The streets are busy, therefore I almost bump into an old lady, who looks at me with a disturbed look as i apologize. I continue my way threw the crowd. At this point im about to start running in excitement but the path is packed. I watch all the Individuals in amazement. They all look so mystic. Maybe this dream isn't so bad after all.
„This isn't a dream"•••
