(The picture above is how he feels all the time I'm sure)

Patrick Bateman.

Put it lightly...he was kind of a dick. Especially to women. It made your lips twist down. His secretary was the only one that ever seemed to get through to him. He had this...habit of telling people, no demanding people do things. It honestly got on your nerves sometimes along with his dialogue he was a pretentious asshole but sometimes you felt for him.

Compensating for the lack of self esteem he has it was apparent. Getting a core belief system that he tried to adapt simply to seem better than his peers. Then the multiple affairs he and his fiancée had. He repeatedly confessed to the crimes hes done but yet no one listens to him.

Thats the tricky part though, you suppose. His constant hallucinations. With him you could never know if he truly killed those people or simply fantasized about it convincing himself he'd done it. At one point his lawyer literally says he's met Paul Alan in England while we as viewers thought Patrick killed him the whole time. Then the apartment incident where it was as if it never happened. Thats the thing the audience never knows whats true or fake when going into his story line. The only way you can infer he never says or sees the things he himself is experiencing is by his surroundings and the peoples reactions...

You had thoughts, lets just say, on his character. Some were good some were bad it didn't matter. You didn't need to get involved with him. The only real reason hes in the movie is that secretary you were talking about? Yeah the one thing he might actually care about? Thats Edith.

He almost tries to kill her, or so the audience can infer as she never turns around or notices that he tried to kill her. She ends up leaving once he tells her not to stay because he might hurt her. Hell the only reason she leaves and tries to escape him specifically is because after his worrying phone call she checks his desk. In his planner there were gory images and drawings of killings or scenes previously where he killed.

Safe to say he was the most mind fuck character. You'll never be able to trust any kindness he gives you simply because of this one pretentious monologue he had about his smile but and you quote "There is simply nothing there". This wouldn't be an issue though since he has no use for you. Therefore you wouldn't stand in his path like ever.

You couldn't help but hum in content. Right now you'd be dealing with 18 year old Patrick not the 27 year old version. This was what made you most curious as to how he was like as you gazed at him. Maybe you'd be able to figure him out.

His gaze snapped to you and you held it for only a moment before letting your eyes wander. You were trying not to look suspicious as if you were not obviously staring. Patrick had this thing. A warm friendly inviting smile that he seemed to perfect over the years. Right now though the smile seemed a bit more...cold. Probably because he hasnt had enough practice.

The rest of the period was absolutely boring. You frowned sinking in your seat. Buisness was so...ugh. It was litteraly so ugh. It was just as fake as a shitty 'kuccie' hand bag. Gucci but faux. Kuccie. Like coochie. The thought cracked you up slightly.

"Is there something you want to share with the class Miss. (L/n)" the teacher says.

God you disliked him so much it was tethering on the verge of hate. You didn't use that word lightly either. It was true though.

He was clearly a divorcee, of course no hate to divorcees sometimes it's needed. With him though it just made him an asshole. That and his hair line was traveling so far back you could have sworn it was hanging on by a caterpillars dick. Like just go bald at that point with your walmart Mr clean lookin ass. He wore a suit looking as if he had just visited a funeral home from the way he smells like cat piss. His eyes were the ones that you swore he killed children with. Like you could see him enjoying his cheap wine acting as if it was fine wine with his plastic wine glass and his yellow stained white shirt, complaing about how every kid is stupid now a days.
