Momo sighed, Sat in his apartment as of usual. It had been a while since the roof overhead had opened up. Yes, Momo had gone to seen the outside, but he figured, a home up there wouldn't be the same as his home down here. It was, however, nice to see the sun and sky and real stars every so often. Another thing they could, too, experience, was rain and snow. It was much more interesting. And despite the fact Momo stayed at home most of the time, didn't mean he didn't go for quick strolls outside of the city. Getting from place to place like to Antvillage or Midtown became much more easier since all the zurks and their existence had been removed. However, everyone was still working on getting rid of the eyes in the sewers, but no more zurks. At all.
The rainbow-faced robot tapped on his desk in boredom, that was before his best friend, Clementine, burst through the door. "HEY MO!" She yelled as she walked in and fell down against the couch. "Oh! Clem. Hey." Momo chuckled as he rose to his feet and walked over to her. "Me, Doc and Sea are heading up on a walk. We're gonna go checkout the control rooms to see what they're like. Those bots from the clean city gave us permission." She explained. "Ah! Sure I'll hop along. We could check up on the clean bots anyways." Momo said with a smile as Clementine stood and they walked out of the house.
On their way down to the ground they chatted. "I'm so happy those boring old bots FINALLY are getting their own personalities. I can't imagine how they've been doing the same thing pointlessly for years and years on end." Clementine yawned as they finally met with the others. "Hey Clem! Mo! Guardian said we can use the elevator." Doc said happily as all four of them made their way to the elevator. After stepping inside, The Guardian pulled a lever, sending them up to the midtown.
Instead of walking through the town, they headed to the subway station and hopped onto the train, starting up the train as it shot forwards. "This.. It seems.. So oddly familiar." Doc mumbled. "Hm?" "I feel like I've been here before.. eh, weird."
There was a silence, only the screeching of the train stopping heard as they reached the clean city.
They exited the train and headed up the flight of stairs, reaching the top. "Hey bots!" Clementine said cheerfully. "Greetings visitors Clementine, Doc, Momo and Seamus." one of the bots said with a small smile on its screen, "Pleasure having you back here. Please follow behind me to the control panels."
The four of them followed behind the bot into the control room. "Hey Seamus you've not talked at all. Are you alright?" Momo asked calmly. Seamus responded with a nod. "Alright." Momo said with a small smile.
Upon entering the room, they walked to the thousands of panels. One of them resting a familiar thing on top. "Hey where did you find this?" Doc asked. "Ah, We found it on the floor whilst cleaning up. It certainly looked familiar. I think it entered this room to open the city with a cat." The robot explained, slightly confused. "Owh.. B' used up the last of its energy to free us." Clementine whined sadly. "I know how to revive it!" Doc said confidently as he picked up the body. He walked over to a workdesk and pulled up a screen and began to work with it. "I know how to work these as easy as you can add 1+1!" Doc cheerfully said.
Momo sighed, he walked over to the other side of the room to explore, Clem following with him. "Hey Mo, you seem down what's the issue?" She asked. "Ah I'm fine Clem. I didn't get much sleep last night that's a-" "Mo, we don't need sleep." "O-oh- right-" He stuttered, clearly panicking. "Momo tell me what's really wrong, pleaaase?" "Gah Clem it's nothing to worry about. I'm just feeling a little iffy but that's all!" "Oh you never tell me anything-" Clementine whined in disappointment. "Yes I do!" Momo yelled. "You only told me about that stupid game!" "What stupid game?!" "That.. Little nightmares! Whatever its called.." Clementine mumbled the last part. "HEY LITTLE NIGHTMARES ISNT A STUPID GAME!!" Momo beeped in anger. "That game released over a million years ago why are you interested in it?" Seamus asked, finally speaking.
"It's a good game okaaaay-" Momo whined. "You have a boring taste in video games. Why are they all from like, the 2000s." Seamus asked. "Yeah they suck." Clementine huffed. "ANYWAYS WE'RE GETTING SIDETRACKED!" Momo called out in frustration, he walked over to where doc was and felt himself get nervous, as he always did around doc nowadays, but played it off and made it invisible to avoid any sorts of awkwardness. "Uhm, Are you done?" The rainbow screened robot asked. "Mmmmhm! Just finished. He should boot up any moment nowwww-" Doc said cheerfully.
Doc had infact fixed the drone, it levitated upwards and regained it's consciousness as he looked around confused and nervous. "I'm..? Im Back?" He beeped, "Momo? Doc? Clementine? Seamus?" "B!" Momo said with a smile. B-12 spun a looptie loop, zooming hastily around the four, "I missed you guys!" "We missed you too lil guy." Clementine chuckled as she patted the drone on the head.
"So, okay. Now we can go look and explore more of the outside! Come one!" Clem laughed in excitement as she dragged Seamus and B-12 along. Momo and Doc followed behind, walking side to side.
"Hey Momo. You alright?" Doc asked the other robot, who was staring tiredly at the floor. "Hm?" Momo hummed as he looked up to Doc, His screen flushing a shade of pink. "You're acting off." Doc mumbled. "Sorry. I don't mean to." Momo mumbled as he looked away. "Hey! No! It's fine don't be sad or anything-" Doc blurted out in a panic. The rainbow faced robot turned to face the scientist once more, nervous, His screen a growing shade of pink that Doc, somehow, didn't notice.
Momo had no the other three were watching.
"Ohhhh... I know what's wrong with momo now." Clementine mumbled.
