as soon as we all start counting together, norman dashes off into the forest.

i think i have an idea on where he's headed. he might be going to the fence.

i think at least, he might be somewhere else completely but i'm still going to check there first.

once everyone is ready and finishes counting, we all scatter across the wooded area.

i sprint as fast as i can through the garden of this farm.

i take a deep breath, observing the gorgeous, lush, thick green trees of gracefield surrounding me.

why did all of this have to be a cruel, heart shattering lie?

no, don't drift away from the task at hand. i have to find norman, nothing else. i don't really need to be overthinking things right now.

for now at least.

the faster i find him, the faster the game ends and i can finally help ray to have norman and emma find out the truth.

then we can plan an escape and leave this cruel place with the rest of our siblings.

then maybe i can find the courage to confess to norman. if i don't tell him soon, it'll slowly kill me.

if i'm honest, i'd rather have the demons kill me than have to keep this to myself for much longer.

i feel my legs reach their limit, i've been sprinting for too long.

i really need to ease into it next time.

or learn how to control it.

any demons i may encounter won't care if i'm tired. it'll be life or death.

i need to push myself more and train my body, to be athletic like emma is.

as much as i love emma, i've always been so jealous of her and being great at sports.

and maybe a little on how close she is with norman, but i know emma has a thing for ray, she didn't even have to tell me.
