Liam's POV:

After recovering from my sickness bug with the help of Owen, Morgan, and Kai, I decided it was time to utilize the weekend and visit my family.

I had been getting a few very stern-worded calls from my mother demanding I make good on my promise to visit every month or two and I knew if I'd put it off any longer I would be dragged back home by my tail.

She even suggested I bring the idiot trio considering we had all grown so close in my time here.

When I brought it up to them they all practically jumped at the chance, saying they were so excited to see my hometown and meet my family. If only they knew how overbearing my siblings could be.

Now the four of us were packing the essentials in Kai's car before we set off for my home.

"Don't forget to grab our toothbrushes!" Morgen yells to Owen when he heads to the bathroom to do a final check for the things we need, "I've got them." Owen says coming out of the bathroom with all four toothbrushes.

Yes four. I don't think Kai has even gone to his dorm in over a week, bringing a bunch of his clothes, hygiene products, snacks, and even personal items like his schoolwork. If I'm being honest I don't think he has any plans of ever going back to his dorm.

It obviously doesn't bother any of us considering it is way more fun to hang out when it is all four of us and Kai has a bright personality that really knows how to light up a room.

Speaking of, Kai let's put a yelp from across the room as he tries to get the kittens into their crate.

"Cmon Andrew work with me here! It will only be a two hour ride and you will be nice and cozy with the blankets you've got in there" Kai says trying to bargain with the cat who looks like he's got no plans of getting in the crate.

I decide to take pity on him and help him out. I put Neil in the crate easily before watching amused, as Andrew follows him right in before I shut the door.

I turn to Kai with a smile on my face as he looks at the kittens in disbelief.

"Careful Kai,  if your mouth hangs open any longer you'll catch a fly!" Morgan says from the door where he stands surrounded by the remaining things we need to take down to Kai's car.

Kai finally closes his mouth and turns to give Morgan a dirty look, tail swinging behind him. "Alright, let's get this show on the road," Owen says grabbing our things and heading to the door, all of us following after him.

The car ride itself was mostly uneventful, other than Morgan almost losing his phone out the open window while the car was speeding down the highway. In his defense he was giving a pretty passionate performance to California Girls from the front seat.

We arrived at my house to the scene of Leroy chasing James around the yard while Lilly laughs from the front door.

"I'm going to fucking kill you!" We hear Leroy snark as we open the car doors. "No please have mercy! I didn't think you were going to eat it!" James says in hysterics, dodging Leroy's swipes.

"What did he do?" I yell to Lilly as me and the others dodge Leroy and James, the former having caught the later and is now shaking him on the ground like a rag doll.

"He ate his pancake!" Lilly yells still laughing. I grimace as I look back to my brothers as Leroy has now stranded up and begins to dust his hands before heading towards us.

Leroy was always very territorial with his food, going as far as to hide it is random places around the house when we were younger. Why James thought it would be a good idea to mess with him by doing something as serious as this I have no idea.

I glance back to my roommates who all have matching expressions of shock on their faces before looking back at Leroy.

"Baby brother!," he says holding his arms wide and capturing me in a hug ,"I've missed you so much, you haven't even visited us once since you went to college! I've had to stay here alone with these idiots!"

At this James, who has apparently since recovered from his assault, gasps dramatically ,"Are we not good enough for you Leroy? I thought you loved us."

"Lilly is acceptable, you are dead to me now," Leroy says giving James a scalding look, "plus my favorite is here now so I don't need you anyways." At this he turns back to me finally giving my company a good look.

"And who are these guys?" Leroy says giving them a calculating look.

"This is Morgan, Owen, and Kai," I say pointing to them respectively," my roommates and honorary roommate, they have decided to spend the weekend at the Jenkins household as well."

"So far we have not been disappointed," Morgan said, tail wagging behind him," is it always this exciting?"

"Oh just wait, you haven't even met the parents yet." Lilly said giving them a sly smile.

"Well we should probably begin to unpack right? I mean I can practically feel how bad the kittens want to get out of their crate." I say going to the car.

It was shaping up to be an interesting weekend already and we only just began.
