''EMBER!'' Derek Screamed from his office,
I slowly walked up to the doors, signing as I knocked on them.

"Yes, alpha Derek?" I asked politely as I walked into his office

" ember, we have a problem
I understand that you don't have a family or anyone besides this pack, but seriously
Why the heck are you going around saying my son has touched you?
He's going to be the next alpha of this pack."

"Bullshit ember, Jackson has told me, I'm sorry, but you have 24 hours to get your stuff together and leave."
I looked at Derek with a tear in my eye and nodded, so he knew I understood him

I signed, knowing she was right, and I didn't have a choice, but Aphla Derek's land was enormous

After 6 hours of running, we finally made it to no man's land
This is the safest place for rouges
Wolfs call it no man's land, but in all honesty, it's just a human town

'let's find a hotel for tonight, and hopefully, we can find somewhere to stay,' I told Aries
She just nodded in my head, too tired to say anything
Luckily, this town has a hotel that is open 24 hours a day

I quickly found a hotel and booked in; I grabbed the key from the man and made my way up to the room for the evening.

Just my luck that Jackson makes lies about me...
I didn't have a great life there, but at least I was in a pack.
Now I'm a rouge that no one will take in

Once I unpacked my backpack, I grabbed a bra and thong out, and an extra-large shirt
And made my way to the shower

"Great, I forgot to grab shampoo and conditioner," I quickly mumbled to myself

After a long hot shower, I returned to bed; I put my phone on charge and went to sleep.
Hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day

"Good morning, Aries" I knew she was still mad at me for being a rouge
I quickly got dressed and put my hair up into a high ponytail
My natural red hair looked bright today
I grabbed my makeup bag and applied my makeup for the day.

Time to find a job, I guess, and a safe house for werewolves like me
I grabbed all my stuff and made my way down to the office to drop the key off
Once I did that, I headed into town

The town was only small, which was amazing for me; I quickly found the werewolf save the house
Which was marked with wolf symbols
Funny enough

"hi dear, how can I help you?" the kind old lady questioned

"Hi, I'm sorry to be a pain, but I was wondering if you have a room available by any chance?" fingers crossed she did otherwise; I was up shit creek without a paddle

"yes, we do, sweetheart, but it's a honeymoon suite," she giggled

"oh, how much a night is that???" man, I hope this isn't too dear
I only had $200 left in my wallet
I did start with $300

"how many nights do you plan on staying?" she asked kindly

"Hopefully, two nights," I said, hopeful

"no worries, hun. It would be $250 a night, including all three meals, so dinner, breakfast, and lunch."
Ah fuck I can't afford that...

"how about one night?" I asked again

"$150 that still includes all three meals" she smiled

So if I took this room tonight, I would only have $50 to my name...

"That's okay; I'll pass. Sorry to be a burden." I smiled sadly
The old lady just smiled back and told me to come back in 2 hours as she might have an opening for one of her cheaper rooms

'yeah, but how cheap would that be.' Aries eventually spoke out

The old lady was kind enough to let me leave my bags at the safe house so I could look for a job.
I walked into town, hoping that someone was looking for people to work

After asking around five places, I finally found a cute little pet shop that was looking for a cleaner and dog walker

"Hi, welcome to pet co; how may I help you?" the person behind that counter was an impressive-looking man
He would have been about 40, his black hair turning grey due to age, and his beautiful blue eyes

" Hi, I saw your post and was just wondering if you are still looking for workers. ?" I asked politely
Something about this man made me feel safe and comfortable

" yes, indeed I am. Do you have experience working with dogs?" ha, if only you knew I was a werewolf

"I had dogs growing up, so I'm very comfortable with them" I mean, I wasn't lying
I had to look after my old pack

" My name is Thomas; when can you start?" Thomas requested

" thank you, Thomas, my name is Ember, and I can start immediately if you like" I smiled

Thomas showed me around the shop and got me started on the register
After a few customers came in, I got the hang of it pretty quickly

"thank you for today, Ember. Would you be able to come back tomorrow and do 9-230?" Thomas asked
I could believe my luck; I was so happy that he wanted me still

"yes, I would love to," I smiled brightly

"Great, here is your pay for today; starting tomorrow, your payment will be weekly and should be in your bank account on Wednesday," he said, handing me $280
This means I'm on at least $30 an hour
How awesome!! 

Smiling like a mad woman, I made my way back to the safe house to see my stuff missing 

"Don't panic, sweetie; I moved your stuff into a room that just became available, and it's only $20 a night," the kind old lady smiled 

After paying about months' worth, I went to my room.
I was finally doing something good for myself and aries
