"Alpha Stone, we are around 10 minutes away from Alpha Derek's pack," my beta and best friend, Jason, announced
"About time. I'm sick of being locked up in this car." I growled angrily
Jason rolled his eyes and signed
I know I'm being an ass, but I only have two months left to find my mate
Otherwise, I lose my alpha title

Most alpha, if they don't find a mate, make their beta daughter or sister the luna
So they keep the bloodline stronger
Once we made it to Alpha Derek's land
We got out of the car and made our way to the pack house when I smelt the most fantastic smell
My mate smelt like chocolate and mint but also like smoke
"MATE" was all everyone heard as I stormed into the pack house, looking for her
Following her scent, I found a tiny room next to the kitchen
I broke the door down, hoping my mate was in there
But to my disappointment, she wasn't
"Alpha Stone, what are you doing here," soon-to-be alpha Jackson asked, confused.
"Where the fuck is the girl that lives here!" I shouted back at him
Alpha Jackson smirked, "Didn't my dear father tell you? this bitch was making lies about me, saying I touched her without her consent."
Before I knew it, I had ripped the door off the hinges
"Jason, tell Alpha Derek we are leaving and to ask him where the fuck my mate ran off to" I was too angry to sit in a room with the alphas...

*Embers pov*
"Good morning Thomas!" I smiled proudly as I walked through the doors.
"Hello, Ember, just wondering. I have a question to ask," Thomas said, looking up from his computer screen
" I need a dog walker today, but this boy isn't like the other dogs from yesterday."
The dog I walked yesterday was this beautiful black lab named Cookie
"Yeah?" I questioned
"Thomas I'm happy to walk any dog, it doesn't matter what the breed is" I smiled
"Very well, follow me," Thomas said, leading me into the kennel area
"This fella came in early this morning, the ranger wasn't sure who owned him, but his very friendly" Thomas pointed to the cutest dog ever
There he was, the cutest dog in the world
A black and white English staffy
"I love him" I giggled, I'm a werewolf but come on, who doesn't love a cute innocent staffy
"Love at first sight?" Thomas laughed, as he walked into the shop
Once I gave the the cute puppy a few pats
I walked back into the front area of the store to find
The sweet old lady from the werewolf safe house
" Oh ember, I didn't know you worked with my husband? " she smiled sweetly

"Oh hi honey" Thomas smiled proudly as he walked out of the office
He walked straight past me, and kissed his wife on the forehead.
'I wish we had that' Aries smiled sadly
I feel horrible for her but at the end of the day
It doesn't matter if my mate's wolf loves Aries, if he doesn't want me Which is very likely
We are going to be lonely forever and that's something I can't let happen.
"Ember please meet my wife may, may this is-" before he could finish what he was saying
May cut him off
" Tom, this was the lovely lady I was telling you about the other night" she smiled proudly
Wait....
Fuck me, I'm slow..... if may is Thomas's wife that means they are both Werewolves.....
" Oh, I would have never thought Ember was a wolf..." Thomas said trying to smell the air
Because I'm a rouge, we let off a kinda weird smell if that makes sense
Like every pack has a smell

Dickheads pack smelt like rocks and wet grass yeah weird I know
To be fair, Werewolves and their packs are fucking weird
"Umm, I'm so sorry, I'll grab my stuff and leave I didn't realise, this was a werewolf shop" Damm it I started to enjoy this job
"Ember? What are you on about? I don't want you to leave" Thomas laughed and walked towards me
"But I'm a rouge, in a werewolf shop?? I thought? " I said looking at him strangely
"Honey, our son is the alpha of this pack, he set this whole town up for young people like yourself, who need help.. " may smiled proudly
" he sounds like a great guy but- " before I could get a word out
Thomas cut me off
"Ember here is a lead and harness for your puppy, if the vets can't find a microchip
His yours" Thomas said handing me a blue harness and lead
"W....w...wait I can't take him?? I mean his cute and I would love it but-"
"Ember please, his welcome at the safe house" may smiled
" okay I'll take him to the vets and I'll think about a name" I smiled almost running back to the kennels
