Chapter 1

It had been a long day. Not only had you have to deal with annoying and ignorant people on the phone but one of your work mates had thought it would be funny to disconnect you phone and slip a Brussel sprout in your morning coffee- which didn't go down well. Let's just say the hospital may be having another patient.
After dealing with one hell of a day you decided to stop at the corner shop to buy something for you tea. Before you knew it you had bought 3 packets of sweets and a pasta microwave meal. By now it was 8:00, which was not so bad- if you lived in a ghoul free world and weren't scared of the dark. Thankfully you only live down the road- a road which has no street lights and is notorious for crime, but hey beggars can't be chooses.
Halfway down the street you hear a slight crunch noise, but you choose to ignore it. Geez what a rip off , you say staring sternly at the creased receipt in your hand before tossing it carelessly Behind you.
