Chapter 1 part 3

Everything was blank. Your mouth merely trembled. It was like you had forgotten how to speak, even controlling your breathing was difficult.
" I didn't know what to do when you blacked out, I hope you don't mind me entering your house." , his voice was softer than before and his eyes weren't red and black.
" I was trying to return the piece of paper you dropped ealier."
You glared at his eyes silently for seconds but it felt like days. You managed to mutter a feeble thankyou before looking away. Slowly, you turned towards the ghoul to see his cheeks a light salmon. He's, blushing ?    

"I'm uta, what about you ?"
  

"I'm y/n.." You said shyly.

The moments of still and Silent moments were broke by you shuffling awkwardly under the sheets, uta had gone down stairs leaving you alone. You couldn't quite get your head around why he didn't try and kill you. He was a ghoul. You were a human. It just didn't make sense.
The sudden sound of footsteps startled you mid-thought. He was walking up the stairs. Even though he had not shown any signs of wanting to kill you, you still shook. Your limbs trembling under the covers as if a icy breeze brushed against your skin.
