chapter 12/ reunion

Ashley.

Am coming I screamed as I ran towards the door.

Its being a month now and my sister has not being back.I have no visitor except emma who comes almost everyday to convince me to go back to my old life to which I never did. Alex my sister friend moved in with me when she found me trying sucide countless times and depressed.

“Who is it ash?,did emma come back.”alex asked from coming out from the kitchen while I gave a “i didn't know” nod. Actually emma has being here sticking to me like a gum.she has become my backbone who get convincing me to leave on with the hope her brother will find my sister.

I didn't know what happened that night,how she disappeared was a mystery to every one of us all I knew and could remember was I went into the bathroom to get my sister after waiting eternity for her and found the bathroom empty .only her make up box and a white napkin that lay on the floor that night...it was a nightmare,I remember I'd scream  araya...my sister..has being kidnapped and fainted at the spot.

The knock came again and I increased my pace.maybe it was emma because she has always frequented here giving me all the support I needed.

With Alex and Emma's support I was able to stand again,at least I wasn't suicidal and I didn't lie in the bed for weeks crying all night.

“i stood at the door and heaved.

i slowly opened the door and muttered “ emma didn't you say your brother was home and you are going to...” I stopped midway and froze momentarily in my spot.

I blinked rapidly as I try to process what I was seen.

Araya.”  my voice shaky and soft I muttered in disbelief.

I felt a heavy feelings in my  stomach as I settles my gaze on her.

“sister..” the tears that has gathered in my eyes began to fall.

“#Ash....”  she nibbled reaching up her hand to lightly clasped her throat.

“ash...”  she called softly throwing her self on mine and she broke down.

“Who is it ash,is it Emma ?”alex asked and not receiving a response from me she approached me but froze at a spot.

“A..Ara..aya...”she squeal and I could feel the tingling of her skin and watery eyes.

Araya you..her unshed tears came out like a flood while she sprayed her fingers out in a fan against the breast bone.

A sudden unset of anger hit me and I yanked her away.

“Where have you being Araya?”

“Araya!”

A sudden coldness hits my core and I settled my gaze at my sister and friend.

“What happened to you?  why are you looking disquiet,pale and almost lifeless? ”they threw questions upon questions at me and all I could do was cry my eyes out. I can't tell them no matter what,I can't.

“Talk to me araya I am your sister I am also your blood please.”she yowled throwing her arms around my body but I flinched.

“I..I....”  Overwhelmed by pain and dizziness I slumped down at the spot and  passed out .

Night 8:30

“You are awake araya.”i heard ash  say happily and slightly leaned. against  the bed They both sat at the edge of the bed watching me closely like if I they remove their eye on me I would disappear.

“Uh..um..” i moaned weakly feeling the soreness and pain from my back.

we have decided Ara,we won't ask you anything about it unless you want to,what matters is you are back to us.” Alex gazed met mine and I nods for her understanding at least the problem would be solved for now.

“its late Araya and I was afraid you'd be hungry and I made some midnight food,would you care for some?ash asked tucking the quilt around my body and I was greatful for that.

“And I think you fainted because of the   fever but not to worry I and Alex has taking care of it.”she uttered and brought to my view a toasted bread and  egg sausage.

I gulped feeling my stomuch crumple. I glanced at the meal and shifter my gaze to them.Alex smiled giving me assurance and ash placed the meal at my lap.

“You look so weak and tired so I decided to bring the food here.”she explained and I nods grabbing the food and crumbling on it hurriedly.

Alex POV

I felt a tinge of pain swell off my heart seeing Ara eat like this,I saw the bruises and marks on her body,I didn't know what happened to her.  but I know she needed us the most around her and not questioning her ,what could have really happens to my jovial friend she looked so pale and weak who have tortured my friend this way.

Realization hits her and she settled her gaze on mine with an unrest feeling

*“Care for some Alex , ash?”she asked politely with a mouth full of bread  but we rejected straightaway hiding our tears from her.

Once she was done I cleared the tray living her and her sister together.

“I understand you don't want to sleep ash,you can go back to sleep now.” I had ash say to her before I descended down the stairs

“Araya?...”

“Can you stay with me ash? I lowered my heard and asked.I was frightened to stay alone the torture has stocked deep to my heart that if I am alone then Something would happen .

“Why not sister I can stay with  you forever..” she said cutely curdling me in the process.

We lay down quietly staring at the ceiling while my memories room I heard ash say

“ emma didn't lie sister she promised me her brother would find you and he sure did..would you like to follow me to her house tomorrow to thank him.”

“uhmum.” in my subconsciousness,I replied making her huge me cutely.
