Authors POV.
Emma inquisitively locked eyes with Ashley before turning towards the door.
"I will get it." she said and Ashley nodded.
She didn't know what other tricks Nora has come up With but whatever it is she better stay far away from her friend. Not as if she didn't notice the disgust in her face in the living room or she's gonna see the other side of her. She thought,frowning as she stood facing the door and heaved.
Slowly opening the door ,she saw only asher who poked out her head and muttered. "hello birthday girl and Nor..." she stopped midway and froze momentarily in her words.
"You!..." she squealed. Unbelievably skipped away from the door as they inched forward.
"sorry I came to apologize about earlier...I.. She stopped as her gaze traveled to the girl on her heel and gapeing tensely at her.
"she accept to be my mama just until my birthday" asher jumped in excitedly running towards Ashley. "she has become your sister now. Aren't you happy. "
"Did you make her do it asher?" emma quirked up with a frown. You know you shouldn't force someone right. "
"I didn't sister,she accepted to be my mama because I pleaded. " she was unto Asher's arms as she wiped her tears. "aunt peony is a good mama and I love her very much."
"Really." emma squired. her eyes fixed on her directly searching for her soul.
"Yes I did... Its her birthday its part of my gift to her."
Ash hurriedly dropped The child, procceds forwards and hugs her.
"Thank you so much for doing this huge favor for all of us, I feel much warm when I was around you earlier and I still feel it now. In fact Ashley has chosen the best friend ever."
emma pulled asher into a light hug as she teared up. Her friend being happy was all she ask for and if making peony stay with them forever will make her happy she was ready to make it happen.
"Thank you so much sister! You are the best. I love you so much." she cried over her shoulder while her eyes drifted off to different portraits hung on the wall.
Fastforward
Presently peony stood at the edge of the heart pool excited for her daughters surprise birthday gift. Along with her two lovely sisters they had turned it into heaven.
Its time to get asher who will do it." emma elegantly said. Putting a finishing touch to the decor and exhaling softly.
"Hmm! it was such a hectic and tedious job for just a short time but finally we did it." asher stated and they smiled lovely feeling fascinated with their hard work.
"Back to the question who's gonna bring asher here." emma uttered addressing them.
"i will do it." emma said appealingly but asher who stood beside emma interjected with a yelp." No emma you won't. her mother will do it, as was her plans after all and it won't be a suprise if any one of us goes."
"You are right," Turning to peony "you are left to bring your daughter here." she comely said.
Peony looks up at them in shock.
"But I..." she trailed off then,so stunned that she abandoned the rest of her words and started towards the house.
Behind her emma and asher clasped there heads together jumping up and down so overmhemoed wirh delight.
