grace: 👏👏 u deserve an oscar!!

a couple hours later i was already at the stadium for the hockey game.

i didn't know it would end out like this.

i don't want this to happen.

my brothers were on the way home from college, on a plane. to be honest, they sent me a picture and it looks really cool.

the plane said flight 942. that's a cool number.

no it's not.

i was getting this weird feeling, whatever.

it's not whatever grace.

trust your gut.

i got a notification on my phone, again.

your going to be devastated.

i almost dropped my phone from what i saw.

told you.

"flight 942 has crashed into a field causing wild fires over in pennsylvania."

"please evacuate if you are in the philadelphia area."

no, this can't be happening.

i grabbed my phone and ran outside of the stadium, calling an uber to pick me up.

"please answer, please answer" i whispered to my self pacing back and forth, water streams rushing down the sides of my face.

"hello?" the person answered.

"i need you to come quick, to the new jersey devils stadium, please." i tried to speak without my voice cracking.

"okay, ma'am." the uber said and hung up.

i was fanning my face and sat on the curb, burying my face into the palms of my hands. it was freezing out, it was pouring.

jacks pov:

"what the hell was that? she just ran out?" jack said asking his teammates. they all shrugged their shoulders.

he figured she needed to go to the bathroom badly.

graces pov:

i called a hospital to ask about the crash, and where my brothers were. they said they were at some pa hospital.

when the uber got in there i rushed in there almost banging my head on the roof of the shiny car.

i asked him to bring me there and gave him all the money i had in my pocket, which wasn't a lot. since i had my credit card.

when we got there i didn't even get time to thank him and just rushed out of the car running in to whatever receptionist was the closest.

i asked them about my brothers and said the room number.

i rushed there.

you don't listen.

i was stopped by one of the doctors.

"you can't go in there right now."

"i need too!" i yelled and demanded, it didn't work.

i heard yelling in the room, "check!" enough times to be sure, he wasn't coming back.

"time of death, 9:37pm"

everything felt like it was going in slow motion.

all of the noise was blocked out.

i didn't even feel my phone vibrating.

from the thousand of text messages and calls,

from evan and jack.

i didn't even feel when,

my whole body gave out.

and hit the floor.

all i saw was light.
