Chapter 6

My Girl....

EDDIE POV

As Lori ran out the room I couldn't help watching her as she left, given the circumstances I should be shitting myself here but all this risk was indeed exciting but in all honestly I really didn't want to leave, as I grabbed her Care Bear dressing gown out of a box in the middle of the room and wrapped it around myself, smelling her perfume as I tugged the sides around me...'uh creepy...sorry!' the gown did not fitting my body very much, walking slowly towards her door and peering out, checking the coast was clear to go get my clothes, I did think about staying here until she came back but i really did have band practice, Lori though she's too intoxicating,

Peering over the bannister and hearing Lori and her father shouting in the kitchen did concern me, but...Shit Its not likely I could do anything to help her if anything id make it 100 times worse, As I tip toed to the bathroom picking up my clothes off the floor and tip toeing back towards her bedroom.

As I dressed quickly as I possibly could, I realised I had accidently picked up Lori's lacy panties, smiling I shoved them in my pocket for later, 'uh I know...creepy!' I look around her room briefly, taking her in, her half-packed stuff still in boxes, on her desk she has a note pad so getting a pen I made a doodle for her to make smile before I make my exit out of the window, climbing out was the easy part it was getting to my van before her dad noticed.

As I climbed down, I creeped around her window and jumped into the van, as I turned the key to ignition the radio blasted Guns N' Roses, Paradise City. 'Shit!!' slamming my fists on the steering wheel before putting the van in drive and speeding off down the street before anyone noticed.

----

Lori was standing in her kitchen getting screamed at by her dad for not coming home last night, and not communicating where she was

"I am not a child anymore dad!" she began to speak, just as she was about to explain music started to blast outside followed by a loud bang then a screech, her dad rushed to the window seeing the back of a black van speed down the street.

"What the fuck!!" He growled, he turned to Lori as she was about to slide out of the room, "Don't think your off the hook young lady!"

"Dad I was with family; I Don't understand what I've done?" Lori pleaded; she would have to be careful with her words or she would never see the light of day, "Robin said she called you!"

"Yeah, and I found out this morning after I spend half the early hours looking for you," he spat out, "And where have you been this entire day?"

"With Rob, dad, I was at Scoops Ahoy," Lori lied, then an idea came to her, "Robin was hooking me up with a job!"

Her fathers eyes softened, "Oh ok," he had no come back, if Lori had a job, then that was a good thing, "Just don't let it get in the way of school," Lori nodded in reply, "Hey, have you found that pendent yet?" he changed the subject to a sore one.

"No not yet!" she huffed out, she was sure she had packed it, she was sure her dad moved it hence the argument that led her to meet Eddie a few nights ago, she smiled to herself.

"You sure you packed it?" her dad spat back expecting another fight,

Lori grimaced, "I did pack it, it was in my jewellery box!" the pendent meant the world to her she's had it since she can remember, just a simple piece of red plastic on a chain, the plectrum. Lori always loved music her mum was in a band when she was younger, she taught Lori guitar.
