Ch.1 Second Death

I lay on the ground, as I slowly turn to ash. I watch as both my lives flash before my eyes. The first as Aster. I was a relatively normal person, suffering from a few mental disorders. I was able to cope with them though and live my life. I had a family who I loved and loved me in turn. I died one day after saving my little brother from getting hit by a truck. While he lived, I fell victim instead. I recall the pain and slowly bleeding out as I died. We may not of always got along, but I would and did die for him.

My current life was alot crazier. I know people fantasize about being reborn in their favorite show and videogames, but it's definitely not all it's cracked up to be. I ended up being reborn in the Naruto universe. The universe with giant chakra beast, OP villains, bloody wars, and ninja child soldiers. Maybe it wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't been been born as the main protagonist themselves. Yup, Naruto. Well, a version of them. I still had the name, but I was a girl and looked like my mother Kushina instead. Still had the whisker marks though. I was honestly confused since wasn't Naruto supposed to be the reincarnation of that Asura guy.

I had to deal with almost the whole village hating me and trying to kill me repeatedly growing up. Whether it was at the orphanage before they kicked me out or the mobs whenever I was out and about. I may be a positive person by nature, but that didn't mean I just let them walk all over me. I took up training and pranks like it was a religion. The first thing I worked on was stealth so I could get away from everyone to train. I worked hard on chakra control, sensing, taijutsu, ninjutsu, kenjutsu, and sealing. I managed to get scrolls for most of it from the old hokage when I told him I picked up training. I abused my Puppy Dog Eye no Jutsu to the max. Most of them were part of my inheritance from my father and mother anyways, so I didn't feel bad. I did make sure to not let the villagers know my true strength so that they didn't think the evil fox demon was growing stronger to try to attack them again.

Going through the academy was fun and boring at the same time. I made friends with Shikamaru, Choji, and Hinata. I was also pretty friendly with the emo duck himself Sasuke. Though if you asked him he didn't like me, but I was more tolerable than the others. The classwork was pretty easy, but I held back on it so that I didn't look like a threat. I ended up learning ahead so I wouldn't be too bored. During this time I solidified my title as Prank Queen of Konoha. I made sure to to keep them nonlethal and easy to fix. Didn't want to actually hurt anyone and I wanted them to be something everyone would laugh at. I'm not sure how, but I managed to keep my identity a secret in a village of ninja. So they need to up their game big time, if a child can do that. With a few bumps in the road, I passed the academy exam. The reveal for me being the jinjuriki of the nine tail fox was a bit boring since I already knew. At least I got to beat up the traitor and learn the shadow clone jutsu.

After the academy and being put on team 7 under the Lazy Kakashi, everything went on fast forward. From missions, training, Chunin exams, meeting new people, Sasuke's betrayal, being hunted for being a jinjuriki, and everything else I was exhausted. Then I end up on a training mission for a few years with my god father Jiraiya. I ended up forcing him to actually put in effort. So I was able to work on Sage Mode early. The frogs of Mount Myōboku were quite pleased with having a true Sage again. I also learned I could use mokuton by accident. I decided to befriend Kurama rather than to forcefully use his chakra. I didn't want to take it from him without his consent. It took a few months, but when he realized I wasn't simply trying to befriend him for his chakra we got along. I had pointed out that I could just use Sage mode and Mokuton instead of Tailed Beast Chakra Mode. Now I had a giant fluffy fox tsundere as a best friend. I also made great strides in my sealing learning under Jiraiya. We did come back to the village for a few weeks so I could see if I could learn healing Jutsu from Tsunade even with Kurama's less than pleasant chakra. Turns out my training in chakra control and studies payed off. Some of the exercises I could do were apparently advanced chakra control exercises made for medic ninja. My study into anatomy for easier ways to take someone down also helped too. So I had the basics down already. I was giving books to study more in depth into medicine and diseases, while getting my healing up to a decent level before I left. In my travels with Jiraiya, I healed the sick and injured for more training.
