Chapter 12

Chloe's POV

I woke up. Feeling the hangover take its toll. I never really enjoyed getting a headache then I looked at the stand. There was a note, glass full of water and Advils. I read it, "Take the Advil's Aunt Chloe. I went shopping for groceries don't worry. Be back soon." I took the Advil's, the pill's bitter taste filling my mouth. I got up and went to shower. Once I was done, I quickly got dressed. I needed to call Stephan before Tatiyana came back. Ring, ring. 'Hello.' , 'Stephan how are you.' I said happily. I heard Stephan signed. 'I need vampire blood and lots of it.' He chuckled, 'Why don't you ask the Mikaelsons?' He asked. 'Why the hell would I ask a Mikaelson? Listen Stephan I trust you and I know you trust me too. So please help me.' , 'Okay.' He said. 'I'll come and fetch it today.' I ended the call. I called Tatiyana but I only got a voicemail so I left a message. I got the car ready and left for Mystic Falls.

Tatiyana's POV

I had returned from grocery shopping. I was busy packing the food away until there was a knock. I wonder who's that? I opened the door and there stood Elijah. He was wearing a maroon suit, white shirt, black tie, black shoes and his hair styled up. I smiled, 'Are you going to invite me in?' He asked smiling. I welcomed him in, 'I got you this.' He said while he handed me a bunch of white roses. 'Their beautiful.' I took them and went to put them in a vase. 'Would you like something to eat or you guys don't eat?' I heard him chuckle, it was deep and sexy. 'Nothing please but maybe I could make you something to eat.' I smiled. 'No, I was going to have a turkey sandwich with wine then crash. Why are you here?', 'I came to see you.' He said coming into the kitchen. He looked around admiring it. 'So how did you know my name?' He asked. My heart beat quickened and I lied. He came closer, 'You're lying but I'll put it aside. For now.' I breathed out, he came closer. Cornering me from escaping him. 'May I?' I nodded. I touched my cheek ever so lightly as if I might break into pieces. He ran his thumb over my lips and kissed me. Soft and passionate. Those were the words I could describe the kiss. I felt his hand slip into my hair and tilt my head. His lips moving along my neck, I inhaled deeply. Until there was an unlocking sound and bang the door went. Elijah removed his lips from the neck and backed away. 'It's your aunty.' He whispered. Aunt Chloe entered the kitchen and stopped dead in her tracks. 'Elijah.' She said his name with such poison. 'Chloe.' He bowed his head a bit. 'I think it's my que to go.' He kissed my cheek and was gone within seconds. 'What the hell is he doin' here?' , 'How do you know him anyway?' I asked curious. 'He's a Mikaelson.' A Mikaelson? No it couldn't be. He can't be a Mikaelson. So is Kol also a Mikaelson?
