Jimin woke up with the glimmering sunlight from her window shining in her eyes. She groaned sleepily and murmured something inaudible, feeling Mushu at the end of her bed soundly sleeping. After a couple of minutes of debating to get out of bed, the blonde finally slithered out of her comfortable bed and made her way to her bathroom, looking in the mirror with sleep-swollen eyes. Her hair was a complete tangled mess; she definitely needed to brush it before she ever went out of her home.
Once she was done brushing her hair out, Jimin made her way out of the bathroom and went into the kitchen, grabbing her kettle and toaster out of the cabinets. Then the blonde grabbed her favorite tea flavor: African Solstice. It had hints of berries and roses, which the young woman loved. So she settled down her kettle and put it over the stove. As she let her toast cook and her water boil on the stove, she went back to the bathroom.
First she brushed her teeth, her eyes half-way closed. Then she moisturized her face and curled her hair. Once she was done with that, she made her way back to her bedroom and got ready for the day. She was, fortunately, off today so the young woman decided to go grocery shopping.
Jimin decided on a simple pink shirt, dark jeans, and a black zip-up jacket. She slipped on her shoes and grabbed her purse from her nightstand.
"That should be everything I need before I go...." she muttered, looking through her purse until she saw her wallet nestled inside. "Ok I guess that's everything. I hope I'm not forgetting anything....now i just have to write my grocery list...."Namjoo and Yoonji soon made it back home, and went their separate ways. Yoonji went to the one person who she knows could do a deep background search into Jimin for them, but she would need to bring Seojin with her since Seojin was the only one with a deep connection to the person. So she walked inside and went to the kitchen, where she spotted the older woman cooking and humming to herself.
"Yoonji! What a lovely surprise!" Seojin turned to smile at the younger woman, who smiled back. "You're just in time! I'm making something delicious for everyone tonight! Wanna taste?" Yoonji shrugged and nodded, walking towards the older woman. She looked inside of the pot and inhaled.
"Unnie this smells really good....you better be careful that Jungah or Taehee doesnt come in here and eat the whole pot." Yoonji snickered and Seojin rolled her eyes, pointing the spoon in her hand at the smaller. "You know they will~"
"You better tell those little fuckers not to come in here and mess with the food." she hissed, her eyes narrowed and lips pursed. "If their grubby little hands come in contact with any of the food, I'll hold you personally responsible." Yoonji gulped and nodded. Seojin then smiled, all hostility gone from her body. "Now taste."
The pink haired woman scooped her spoon inside of the pot, raising it to Yoonji's mouth. She watched as the younger sipped on the spoon, her eyes widening. The black haired woman hummed, her eyes closing with a serene smile.
"Really good unnie...." she murmured, and Seojin's ears turned red and she grinned with pride. "But I need your help with something later if you're not busy...."
"Oh this? It's been done for a while. What can I help you with?"
"You're the only one who knows Seeker. Think you can help me get in touch with them?" Seojin was silent for a moment, her expression blank as she let the smaller woman continue. "Namjoo wants me to look into Jimin's background, and we all know she wants me to get Seeker. She's the only one who can dig deep for us."
"They won't be happy I'm calling them so early....and that I'm bringing someone that isn't Namjoo with me. But they love me too much to be really angry at me. I'll give them a call and let you know what they say." Yoonji nodded and gave Jin a hug before she left.
Let's hope this background check comes back clean.....Jimin walked through the aisles, searching for food to put into her one-bedroom apartment. Humming silently, she grabbed a box of cereal and threw it into her shopping cart.
"Now I just need kitty litter...." she thought to herself, turning out of the aisle she was in. If the blonde wasn't looking at where she was going, she would've bumped into the person that suddenly walked in front of her cart. But thankfully she stopped just in time to tell whoever it was off. But the young woman stopped, immediately recognizing who it was.
"Taehee!!" Jimin smiled, and Taehee's eyes widened. "I didn't know you shopped here!"
".....Well it is a supermarket. So I would assume everyone who lived around this area shopped here." Taehee unconsciously replied bluntly, and Jimin's smile faltered a bit. I'm messing things up with Jimin!! Taehee thought, gulping silently.
"Oh I'm sorry for assuming..." Jimin nervously smiled, bowing her head a bit. "I should finish getting my groceri-"
"I'm sorry!"
"Sorry? For what? You don't have anything to be sorry about Taehee..!"
"I didn't mean to sound so....rude responding to you. You don't deserve that type of treatment from me, when you did nothing to deserve that. And I'll admit it....you make me very....nervous."
"You have nothing to be nervous about at all Tae!! I'm as harmless as a tiny baby butterfly!" Jimin giggled, and Taehee couldn't help but notice the smaller woman's eyes would lower as she smiled, resembling a crescent moon. "But why are you here? Shopping for the others?"
"Not really; I'm shopping for some things mainly for myself, but the girls usually use it as well." Taehee technically wasn't lying; all of them use the knives and duct tape. "What are you here for?"
"Just the usual; groceries for myself and Mushu. I think I'm going to cook something tonight if you and the girls wanted to come over?"
"I'll ask them about it. Hey since we're here together and all, I can stay and shop with you! If you want to of course..." Jimin giggled at Taehee's shifting eyes, pink cheeks, and fumbling fingers. But the black haired girl smiled in relief once Jimin nodded her head. "I can even help you with the taller objects on the shelf. Since you're short and all." Jimin gasped in shock and slapped the younger's shoudler, pouting at Taehee's cackling.
"I'm not that short...." she muttered, her eyebrows furrowed. "But let's continue shopping before my baby misses me too much~""So why did you want to come with us again...?" Seojin grumbled, glaring at Jungah from the rear view mirror as she drove. Yoonji just chuckled and watched the road from the passenger seat.
"Namjoo unnie was busy with something, and Tae unnie is gone. So I was gonna be bored all by myself over there!!" Jungah replied, grinning ear to ear. "Plus, you love me too much to really be upset at me unnie~"
"Unfortunately...." Jin huffed with a smile, and the three quieted down afterwards. It took them about an hour and a half to get to where the Seeker was temporarily staying. Their informant knew basically everything there was to know about anyone they wanted to get information on. They had a team of five others, but Yoonji nor Jungah had seen the Seeker's identity, so they don't know whether the Seeker is a male or female. And Seojin wouldn't give them any clues on their gender.
When Seojin suddenly pulled over to the side of the barren road, both the younger girls were confused.
"Unnie what are you doing?" Yoonji asked as the talker got out of the car.
"We have to go on foot now through the woods. Seeker doesn't like having any kind of noise around the spot. Follow me." both Jungah and Yoonji followed the pink haired elder out of the car, and the three made their way into the woods. It took them thirty minutes to get to a regular cabin in the woods.
"This is the place that you were talking about??" Jungah asked, looking around unimpressed. Yoonji didn't speak up, but she felt the same as the younger. Jin just rolled her eyes and kept walking, not answering Jungah. The three walked up to the door, and Seojin knocked three solid times.
After about three minutes, the door opened and Jin smiled.
"Jin!"
