Happy Birthday! (a REALLY late celebration 💀)

long time no publish huh LMAO, I know this chapter is pretty late but I was really busy. since it's been so long since I have published I decided to make a birthday chapter for xiangling :). I was gonna do a Halloween special but it's pretty close to xiangling's birthday so I decided to make the story all of you dressing up like normal Halloween AND celebrating her birthday, anyway, let's move on to the chapter!

"that's enough Y/n~, me and Zhongli could do the rest. Thanks for your help bud!" Hu tao said as she poked her cheek and made the bleh face ( IDK WHAT IS IT CALLED LIKE BUT ITS LIKE THIS :P FORGIVE ME) while winking. You just smiled while sweating and you noticed Zhongli carrying a full on big ass box in the back round, struggling and regretting his 6000 years of living (poor back) , probably was forced by Hu tao. "Uh, are you sure both of you don't need my help anymore? 😟" you made a worried face looking at Zhongli. Hu tao looked at Zhongli and looked at you. "Nah we can do it. You need to prepare for the big day first AND practice your part. We could handle the decorating stuff. Don't wanna ruin the special day for your girlfriend dear friend, babye~!" She winked and slammed the door shut right in front of you. "Well, she had a point. I guess.." You brushed it off hoping that Zhongli was still alive, you decided to visit Xinqiu because you felt like it. ( I can't really think of a reason I'm so sorry 🧍‍♀️)

After a few minutes of walking you went to Xinqiu's place. You knocked on the door and you were gladly greeted by him. "Hello Y/n, What brings you here?" He offered for you to come in. "Nothing really, I just want to ask some advice from you for later." He put his hand under his chin. "Ohh, for later? right right. I could help you wait that, no worries~" You were walking inside but someone also greeted you. "Oh hiya Y/n." Chongyun eating a popsicle while sitting. You looking confused, Xinqiu answered your question. "Chongyun visited me a couple of minutes ago, we were preparing our costumes for later." "right we need to dress up." putting on a worried face. "Oh don't worry about Xiangling not liking your look later. You look pretty handsome in any thing you wear to be honest." "Oh but I thoug-" Xinqiu shoving his popsicle more into his mouth to stop his sentence, him smiling like a maniac made you even more worried. "Bro wtf was that for." Chongyun glaring at Xinqiu but he still got that smile that scares you.

"You really know me, Xinqiu, are you a mind reader or something?" Trying to change the subject, your question making Xinqiu giggle. You didn't want to stay for anymore longer cause you know if you stay for too long your gonna get involved into their shit. "Anyway- I'm gonna go now, uh BYE" "wait, Y/n! what about the advice?" "NAH IM GOOD I COULD FIGURE THAT OUT MYSELF" running towards the door and shutting it behind you. I would rather not lose Xiangling than getting your advice, thank you very much Xinqiu. I'm not ruining the big day, friend.

Running for your dear life, you saw Xiangling walking around helping people, you wanted to talk to her but you couldn't since if you do, your worried you might slip your words and ruin the surprise. You go back to your house to prepare your costume, you were very confident that you and Xiangling will have the same costume. "Mhm, I trust her on that." You talked to yourself as you began to put it on, your supposed to go there early so you could help with the food and other decorations.

*time skip*

After putting it on you went to the funeral parlor to check on hu tao and zhongli, and also check if there are early birds attended.
You fixed your hair and started knocking on the door. "Oh hello Y/n~ you are pretty early huh?" You giggled. "Of course, I need to help you guys. Also, are you supposed to be a Frankenstein-?" You nervously laughed. "Yes you got it right!! Zhongli called me a green hilichurl creature, I don't know what he ate to say that." "Oh." "Hehe, anyways come on in~, I better hear you say it's pretty.. " she whispered. "What was that?" "NOTHING NOTHING HEHE" you were concerned.

"Wow, it's actually really pretty." You said as you were walking around, eyes sparkling. "Told you, you can count on us!, I made sure to put a lot of spoookky ghosts, pumpkins around, and some spiders too!, I made the color theme black, red, and orange. isn't it so pretty!?" Hu tao said as she ran around, knocking a pile of pumpkins over. "Oopsie~" you sighed and face palmed. Zhongli was watching you both and made a disappointed face. Probably saying this kid I swear, While trying to control his temper.

"Any who, others are gonna start coming. Let's make sure everything is nice. Especially. The food." "Alrighty!" Hu tao immediately fixing the pumpkin mess she made and you helped her too.

*time skip*

Everyone is here, except for one. Xinqiu went to look at the window to check if Xiangling was coming. "She's here guys! Hide!" You all hid and you hid behind the door so you could surprise her by the back.
As Xiangling came in, she was really confused on what was happening. After a few seconds, everyone came out of their hiding places and! "Surprise! Happy birthday!" "Oh my god!" Xiangling covering her mouth and sat on the floor, but she didn't know you were behind the door. "Surprise darling." You whispered in her ear which made her turn to your direction and you smiled. "Oh my gosh, I thought this was just a normal Halloween celebration!" Chongyun cutting her sentence of, "you really think we're that boring." Xiao nodding in agreement.

"Please Chongyun dear let her have her time, it's her day of birth." Xinqiu said which made Chongyun pout. "Any who, did you like the surprise?" You asking her while helping to get her up. You got caught off guard because she immediately hugged you. "Thank you so much y/n. To everyone here. Thank you.." "Aw she's crying." Beidou trying not to cry. "Oh geez stop being a baby Beidou." Nigguang talking to her. "Your welcome but, I think the people you wanna thank more than me is hu tao and zhongli, they made the food, I mean- zhongli and me made the food, and hu tao designed the parlor." As you pointed at them, hu tao smirked and zhongli just nodded. "Hehe, thank you guys.. Anyway, let's get it started I'm down!" You giggled.

Everyone was just having a good time. Dancing, eating, and doing their own thing. Especially everyone's costume was spot on. Qiqi was just her self because uh (she's a zombie already soo) Xiao being a grim reaper, Chongyun was a ghost, childe being a cat, xinqiu was a vampire, ganyu was a witch, Beidou and nigguang were both pirates, and paimon and aether being a pumpkin. Oh almost forgot, zhongli was a devil too. But honestly the thing your most relieved of is you and Xiangling both have the same idea to be mummies! You both were really cute together.

Xiangling catches you glancing at her. She gets the idea of dancing together with you. You tried to refuse, but she was pulling you with her. "But xiangling I don't know how to dance-" "oh come on, it'll be fun! It's my birthday today right?" You sighed because you had no choice. You and the others made the party memorable for xiangling. It was the best birthdays she ever had.

Another special chapter done :) I don't know if I will be making a Christmas Special though, we'll see if my schedule has time LMAO. Any who, I hope you guys enjoyed it even tho it was really late- but! Ill see you guys next time byee! 😍
