"Are you sure about this, Rapunzel?"
"No. But I need to see the floating lights."
"Oh, right! They're called lanterns."
Rapunzel and Rosalie were both standing behind the green wooden chair that was in front of the blue closet, which they were facing at the ready.
However, Rapunzel turned to the younger girl to her right in wide-eyed surprise. "What?" She asked.
"I'm sorry, I was going to tell you but then I hid and your mom yelled at you." Rosalie explained, twiddling her fingers awkwardly. "Those things you've been talking about.. I think you mean the kingdom's annual floating lantern ceremony."
"Lanterns!" Rapunzel repeated, turning to Pascal, after a brief pause. "I knew they weren't stars."
Pascal nodded, equally beaming, before he nodded towards the closet, reminding her of her plan.
Rapunzel nodded back, turning back to it and taking a deep breath. "Okay." She whispered.
Rosalie moved to open the closet door, but Rapunzel stopped her by grabbing her arm.
"Watch." She instructed, tossing a large strand of her hair towards the closet. It gripped the door handle, promptly allowing her to open it.
Rosalie giggled, impressed by Rapunzel's hair.
Flynn's body tumbled out of the closet.
*SMACK*
His face hit the floor, causing Rapunzel and Rosalie to gasp. Flynn then slid a little across the floor.
Rapunzel and Rosalie tied him up, at once, with Rapunzel's hair and dragged him to the center of the room, positioning him in the green chair.
Rosalie pulled her cloak hood over her head, afraid of being recognised. Bucky and Pascal perched on Flynn's shoulders and attempted to wake the unconscious thief. Pascal slapped Flynn's cheek, then turned blue in case he woke - nothing.
He then slapped him with his tail - still nothing. Bucky tried tickling Flynn with his bushy tail - no effect. Finally, Pascal stuck his tongue in Flynn's ear. That worked, to the girls' and Flynn's disgust.
"Ahh!"
Pascal yelped and fell to the ground, as Bucky scurried away and Flynn realised he was tied up.
"Huh? Wha..? Is this.. hair?" He asked, struggling futilely against the golden strands binding him.
"Struggling.. struggling is pointless." Rapunzel stated, her voice calm but firm whilst she and Rosalie remained hidden in the shadows.
"Huh?" Flynn murmured, confused.
Rapunzel and Rosalie then jumped down from their perch, still cloaked in the shadows.
"I know why you're here. And we're not afraid of you." Rapunzel declared, her tone steady and unwavering. "What?" Flynn asked, trying to see.
The girls slowly emerged from the shadows, their faces set with determination. "Who are you.. and how did you find us?" Rapunzel questioned.
