(Two days before the interview)
The morning has come in the wretched world people call their society. The new day being just a normal morning for every hero, civilian and villains to do what they do in their day to day lives.
For the singer, it was a miracle to wake up early and even stand up to shower.
(After shower)
"Hey Shoto, how are you? How's the internship? I wanted to let you know I'm making my morning refreshments as we speak."
He states, turning on the cheap coffee maker while holding onto the phone.
A piece of burnt bread pops out of the toaster, using the other hand he reaches to grab it with his fingers not bothered by the burning feeling.
"Yes your big brother woke up early by himself. Don't get used to it"
"Am I eating well? Why thank you for asking Shoto I am!" He takes a bite, it was gross- no, just dog shit awful. He struggled to swallow the piece or sound like he was tortured.
"So- yeah don't worry I'm eating only the best!" he took another bite regretting it immediately.
"I don't know what else to say but- work hard. Listen to what your mentor says, if they say or do anything you don't feel comfortable with don't hesitate to call Kurogiri to take you home early."
He paused for a moment.
"Call me back when you have the time. Bye"He ended the voice message and spat out the burnt
piece he tried to swallow.
He knew he should've added butter before putting it in, but at least it tasted better than the rat poison Shoto makes him. Setting the toast aside he looked upon the other messages he has sent him, all without response. He sighed, turning off the phone to take a sip of his recently brewed coffee. Not as good as the coffee shop but at least he had to himself. No cashiers, no hypocrites, no crazy fans, and best of all, no heroes!
In fact, it was the perfect day to stay inside and to avoid being seen by that hero! He could watch some movies, make a better breakfast, smoke as much, drink all he wanted! There's just one problem: he has a job.
Adulthood is so fun!
(After breakfast)
It didn't take long to leave the apartment with his thermal cup of homemade coffee, he had something to survive on the way to the studio despite the crappy taste.
He's too busy thinking how he's gonna survive today with Tenko's ordering, especially with yesterday when he had that hangover.
His mind then began to wonder how Shoto was doing, why hasn't he responded to his messages? Was he busy? Did his mentor have some sort of strict no phone rule? Or was he just ignoring him?
"This is just a phase" he thought to himself "It will go away" he mentally reminded himself, should he be worried? No, no he shouldn't but- should he?
Perhaps now it was not the best time to think such things. Especially at a tight schedule, it was best to avoid any inconvenience in the meantime.
"Heyo!"
Never mind he just arrived, the number three hero who's a few feet in the air greeting the singer in disguise . "Just ignore him" he thinks, if he ignores him he'll go away. Right?
"How's your head? Do you feel any better?" The hero asks, walking alongside him. He kept walking in silence, earning a small hum from the hero.
"Silent treatment it is!"
