I Awake // Prologue

I awake to a feeling of pain in my neck. I open my eyes to see a starry sky, and beside me - a vampire.

•2 weeks later•

It's been at least two weeks since that night, the bite mark still visible on my neck. I walk into the kitchen greeting my chefs and watching them make breakfast for me and the staff. We all eat in this big dining room together. Since there's no one else to eat with me, I invited them to eat with me every meal.

Walking outside I look up to the sky satisfied yet unsatisfied with where I ended up. I wouldn't say it's the worst place to be right now but I'm not really as happy as I used to be. I miss all of my friends... I've been locked up in this damned estate since after I was .... At least the sky was pretty.

I headed over to my favorite tree on my property a little weary. I trip face forward putting my arms in front of me to break my fall. My mouth suddenly started aching and my head started to hurt. I move my hand to my mouth to feel the place where it hurt, but then, something pricked my finger?

I frantically run towards my house and twist the doorknob leaving the blood from my finger on it. Then, a blast of pain goes through my head. "Why is this happening?!" I yell. Theo, my butler came running to my aide as I pace to the closest mirror. "What are these?" You ask yourself, Theo standing worriedly behind you.

"Miss, if I may," Theo starts to say "I think those are fangs..."

"Fangs? Why do I have fangs?! Where did I get them?!" You exclaim. Then, everything went black.
