Chapter 1 - Comfort

A/N: HELLO PEOPLE! I am home sick for the third day now- and I kinda hate it. :/ Anyway, I have no idea what the idea for this chapter is, but I have a small idea for it, so yeah! It (idrk) has the SLIGHTEST bit of angst. It's really just Velvet isn't really having a good day.

Ant had woken up to the sun shining barely through the curtains. He opened his eyes and put his glasses on to notice that Velvet wasn't in their bed. He sat up and looked around the dark room, squinting his eyes slightly, to be able to see more. He noticed that Velvet wasn't anywhere to be seen in their room. He pulled the covers off of him and walked out of their room. As he walked down the hall, he heard quiet sobs coming from the bathroom. He headed to the bathroom and saw the door was closed, and there was light was coming through the cracks. He lightly knocked on the door.

"Red?" He asked, concerned.

Red's head lifted up at the noise of his boyfriends voice. He sniffled and stood up, slowly walking over to the door. (AT THE TIME I'M WRITING THIS PART I AM IN CLASS. HELP-) The door knob slowly turned and Ant was met with the face of his boyfriend, his cheeks tear-stained and his eyes red and puffy. Ant immediately wraps his arms around him, engulfing him. Red immediately wraps his arms around the other, reciprocating the hug. Ant swayed them back and forth slowly, trying to calm the younger, as he whispered meaningful nothings into his ear.
After he'd calmed down they walked to their room and sat down on their bed.

"Can you tell me why you were crying, Red?" Ant asks, his arm wrapped around Velvet's shoulder, rubbing circles on it.
"I- I don't even know.. I just woke up and felt like shit, so I just walked into the bathroom and kinda just started crying.." Velvet responds, resting his head on Ant's shoulder.

Ant and Red stayed in bed most of the day.
