new family

chapter 1 what happend

death, blood

it was my birthday yesterday

everything was really good

I had cake

and presents

my friends were there

everything was amazing

and then I woke up after a loud bang

I got out of bed and went to go find mum

and I did

I found her on the floor

she was in a pool of blood

so I did what she taught me to do

the doctors came not long after

they did what they could 

then we were off to the hospital

--**present time**--

a flat line starts to call out and my mum's hand starts to go cold. that's when the siren starts to call out and several people run into the room and start to do stuff to my mum. I don't know what's going on. I hope mum is going to be ok. I slowly get pushed back "CAN SOMEONE GET THAT KID OUT OF HERE WE NEED TO START CPR" Someone takes me out of the room and sits me down

"Hey kid what's your name" "My name is ranboo" "Hey that's cool, do you have any more family that you can home with" I shake my head "Oh ok we'll stay here and I'll be back" the doctor. she walks over some someone in a suit. As they start to talk everyone comes out of my mum's room. What's going on I thought that they were helping my mum. the last person who came out of the room approaches me "I'm so sorry for your loss kid" and with that, they walk away. soon after the lady come back over to me. "hey ranboo I'm really sorry for your loss... would you like to see your mum one last time" "What do mean by that miss" "I'm sorry ranboo but she's dead, you won't see her again once you leave so would you like to see her one last time." I nod and we walk in. The lady sits down as I walk over. then the room was still. no noise other than the rumble of footsteps outside and there's a chill to the air. 

all I do is look at her

shes so still

she has never been this still before

I wonder what happened

but I hope she's happy

"goodbye mum I hope you're at peace now" and with that,  my tears start to fill the room. I cry for quite some time. What's going to happen to me now that she's gone? I turn to the lady still with tears in my eyes "Miss I'm ready to go and find a new family I guess" She smiles sadly and walks me out. she takes to the building with lots of people. "so ranboo for as long as you are a child I will make sure that you have a family, I'm Abigail and I already have a family for you to go to I just need to put you in our system" and she disappears. she left me all alone. I really am alone. I have no one. my mum was the only one other for me. now I'm just going to live with some random people that I've never met before. Abigail is suddenly in fount of me, snapping me out of my thoughts. "ok ranboo so we are going to go back to your mum's house and get some things for you to take with you like clothes ". she walks off and I follow like a lost puppy. and while we drive all I can think is how alone I am in this world now
