I have just gotten home. I went to my room and I sat on my bed. I looked on my nightstand and I saw the letter Lucas wrote. I didn't open it yet. I grabbed it, opened it, and finally read.
"Dear Max,
As you and the others know, I don't have a lot of time yet. I wish this never happened to me and everyone else. Please don't be sad because I'm going to a better place. I have always loved you, Max and I wish I could go back to all good times I had with you. Please don't let my death make you suffer. Promise me you'll still be happy after I'm gone. Because I now realize that life can be taken away just like that. Please don't suffer and still be happy. Make every day of your life count.
Love always, Lucas"
After I read the letter I curled into a ball and teared up.
