Tanjiro smelled his panic, looking at him as if trying to ask where the biwa came from. A few more notes we're played on the biwa before giyuu suddenly just barley blocked an attack.

The mysterious attacker jumped back next to shinobu elegantly, hat covering his features once again. "M/n-"

M/n cut off giyuu with the strum of his biwa, standing next to shinobu menacingly due to their difference in height. Tanjiro was frozen in fear, the smell of this hashira was as intimidating as muzans - if not more.

"ara ara~ what a sight don't you think Takahashi-san?" Shinobu asked turning and looking up towards m/n. "truly..I expected better.." he said, surprising both giyuu and shinobu.

Tanjiro went to cover his sister but found she was no longer there, looking around frantically he saw m/n holding nezuko by her arms tightly. The demon was asleep, making her lean forward in his grip.

"wait!" Giyuu exclaimed, wide eyed.

M/ns pick was a centimeter away from slicing nezukos head off, his whole body pausing suddenly making his bangs swing. "She's..a good demon."

M/n hummed in disapproval, raising his pick once again until m/ns dove cooed "coo~ oyakata-sama request tanjiro and nezuko are taken back to the estate! Nezuko, a demon with a muzzle, tanjiro, a boy iwth a scar! Coo~!"

M/n tossed nezuko carelessly into giyuu, making him stumble back from the sudden body weight. "Oh? You're lucky this time, boy." Shinobu smiled threateningly, disappearing to go back to the estate.

M/n stayed with the biwa in his hands, plucking a couple strings before he turned around with an angered aura. He disappeared into the shadows of the tree, secretly sulking at not being able to see the face of heart break on the little boys face.

Giyuu let out a breath he didn't know he was holding, his nerves finally calming down as the biwa slowly faded. "Tomioka-kun..who was that..?" Tanjiro asked shakily, his voice uncharacteristically nervous.

"You'll...find out later." Giyuu murmured, picking the two siblings up and knocking tanjiro out as he made his way towards the estate.
