It was a cold Autumn evening, And Collei and I had just finished clearing the last withering zone of the day. It's getting darker, and the other rangers must be wondering where the hell we are. "Collei, It's about time we should be heading back. Pack up your things and let's get moving." I said calmly. "Okay Master!" Collei skipped to gather her belongings into her worn leather backpack, and we headed off into the sunset.

It's around midnight, and we just arrived back at Gandharva Ville, nobody seems to be out except for the usual night watch guards. "Collei, do you need help with your Eleazar treatment?" "No master, I can do it myself! Thank you for the offer though!" Collei chirped. "Sweet dreams Collei!" "Rest will master Tighnari!" And just like that, we headed into our huts to rest. It's never been easy for me to fall asleep, so I usually spend my nights drawing mushrooms. Earlier today, I discovered this interesting mushroom that had seemed to be infected with a substance of some sort. It wasn't a good substance, nor was it giving off any harmful feelings. It feels almo- wait. My ears twitched and my eyes opened wide. This is canned knowledge! But why would a container of canned knowledge be all the way out in Avidya Forest?

I grabbed my notebook and pen and carefully placed the mushroom in a small container, and snuck out to the withering zone again. This is normal for me, so I don't worry about losing sleep at all. I carefully placed the mushroom on a small stump and took out my lantern to examine it with the surrounding area. No signs of contamination, no signs of any spreading. This canned knowledge seems to consist of fighting technique, and polearm types. This reeks of akademiya.

I heard a faint yet swift rustle of leaves in the distance. Whoever this was must be the culprit of this knowledge capsule. Luckily, no man or women of any shape and size can fool ears like mine. I heard a few more rustles to the right of me, and then to the left, I swiftly pulled out my bow, keeping it low yet ready for any sudden attack. I focused my ears on the noises, and right as the figure came about 7 feet away from me, I hit. Checkmate. I shot a bright green arrow lighting up the dark area and barely hit the figure. From the vivid light, I could see this person was wearing a dark cloak with a hood. Were those ears on the top of it too? Suddenly I felt a sharp hit on my back and realized I let my guard down. shit. I spun around only to fall face to face, right in the culprit's grasp. Cracking Iighting stinging me, and a faint purple glow came from this person. Who was this guy? He let go of me, yet made it clear that if I were to move even a finger, he would end me right there and then. He lit up the lantern that went out during combat, and slowly removed his hood. Holy shit.

Flowing white hair emerged from the darkness of the fabric, and toned, tan arms fell from it's coverage. He turned around and immediately I knew who this was.
"Well if it isn't The general mahamatra?" I said. His deep ruby eyes looked into mine and I could feel my legs go slightly numb. This man has always been perfect, every inch of him has always been hot like this. "I guess you caught me, Nari." He chuckled. I blushed at his laugh, praying it wasn't noticable. "The last I saw you was during graduation. I see you've come a lot farther since then, look at you now, Mr. Forest ranger." He eyed me up and down and bit his lip. Fuck. Now's not the time to Fall back in love, Tighnari.
