"Lyla...please wake up."
Aaron has been at Lyla's side ever since she fell down. It's been three days, and Lyla still hasn't awoken. All of Celestial's Medical Center in loosing hope in their dark Princess.
Aaron got up from his seat right next to Lyla's medical bed, and checked the time. It's 0:39.
Great, midnight. He thought. He glanced at Lyla one more time before placing a small kiss on her forehead.
Aaron is gone. He whispered to me. You can open your eyes now.
I opened my eyes, not knowing any better. I should have kept them closed. Before me stood him.
"Ah, you're awake, Princess. You're good at listening to directions." His voice was full of rasp, I can't stand it.
"Wh-what are you doing here? I thought Aurora destroyed you..." My voice trailed off.
"Oh, Lyla...did you not see the time? And," He did fake puppy eyes, "I thought you were the only one who knew I wasn't dead, LyLy."
"Cerberus," I started, but was suddenly interupted.
"Aw, you actually know my name. That's nice, your majesty. " Cerberus said in a shocked tone.
"Will you?" I shot back.
"Okay, night god. I have a request. No, actually. You have no choice." Cerberus stated.
"Oh, lovely."
"That distruction you caused in Katrina days ago brought me here. You're dark power is very strong, Lyla," Cerberus looked down. "Princess. I know what you want. I know what you have to do."
"What...what do you mean?"
"I know you want power. I know you want Aurora's throne. I know deep inside, that evil Lyla wants it all."
I stood before him. I knew what he was doing.
"Cerberus, no. I refuse to listen to your lies! Not again. I won't join you. I won't hurt Aurora!" I shouted at Cerberus. I can't. I..can't. Not now. No....Inside the royal chambers of Celestial, lays Cerberus. He watches over a younger Princess, Princess Lyla.
"Goodnight, dear sister. I love you. Sweet dreams." Aurora says to her younger sibling.
"But, Rora...I don't want to go to bed yet. Please stay and read me a story." Lyla pleads in a childish tone.
Cerberus smacks his forehead. No, Aurora. Just leave. Let me do my work on your precious sister, he thinks to himself.
"Okay, fine Lyla. One story. Okay?"
"Okay." Aw. She sounds so happy. I can't wait to crush her happiness.
Aurora read the story of the Sleeping Beauty. The one where that random Princess gets kissed by some guy and a really cool villian.
Yeah. That one.Aurora finally left little Lyla's room. It's your time to shine, Cerb.
"Hello, your majesty."
"Huh?" Lyla said, "Aurora? Is that you?"
She sounded so scared.
"No, my dear, it's me." I brought my face towards her own,"and I have a request."
"Oh..what kind of request mister ghost man?"
"Ghost man? I am no ghost. I am a god, just like you."
"Oooohh."
"I am Cerberus, a dark god, just like you, Princess. You are different from the others, correct?"
"Yeah...a little. All the other princesses stay away from me. They don't like me."
"I see. What about the future Queen of Celestial?" I asked.
"Oh, Rora? She's the best sissy ever! She actually likes me, and plays with me...and..."
"And?"
"Oh...she stays away from me too sometimes. I think she's scared of me.."
"Why would she be scared of such a cute...nice little girl?"
"You think I'm cute? And nice?"
"Of course my dear. You know, I can make you better than dear Aurora. You can be stronger and greater than her, and become the future queen."
"Really, sir? You'd do that for me??"
"Only under one request."
Which was, you may ask? Quite simple, actually.
"Please continue."
"Well, we may need to move Aurora out of our way, so we can be in charge. I need you to look into my eyes..."
His eyes glowed the brightest, yet...strangest color. You couldn't look away. And before she knew it, Lyla was put under a dark curse.
"Come, my sweet." Cerberus said to his new minion.
"Yes, sir."
He lead her down a hall with a candle, and then into a corner.
"Dear, please set this place into flames."
"Yes, sir."Lyla took the candle to the corner of the hall, and stared as the wall set to flames. Then the door, then the room their parents slept in.
Aurora, still awake at this hour, feels the floor below her collapsing. She quickly forces a magic bubble around her, and tries to find her dear sister.
She wasn't in her room.
Aurora searched around the chamber halls for her dear sibling. She saw the disaster before her.
There, was her sister, surrounded by a dark purple glow.
"Thanks for joining, Rora."
She turned to see an evil grin facing her way, she immediately reconized it.
"Cerberus. How dare you destroy my home?"
"Not just your home, dear Aurora. It's all over now,
they're dead."
