"You know him‚ right?" my friend Jasmine asked me with a disgusted look on her face.
"Of course" I answered shortly to her with a serious expression.
"Oh‚ great! Because everyone knows who that guy is." She was so annoyed when she said that. "He's famous for being a playboy. Ugh‚ how disgusting. Bakit ba ang daming nagkakagusto sa babaerong 'yan?" she added. I just listened silently to what she was saying‚ even though I knew I was trying to let it out on the other ear.
I've been in love with Vaughn for such a long time but no matter how hard I try to get close to him‚ he doesn't see me just as how I want to be seen by him. It's as if he sees nothing but pure lust for another woman. But I'm not in despair‚ because I believe that one day he will love me too‚ just as how much I love him.
While walking home‚ I noticed Vaughn and
his friends at the school gate with random girls. My attention immediately went to Vaughn who was busy talking to one of the girls with them. I felt annoyed‚ but I didn't know why I kept watching them until they were over. When they were finished‚ Vaughn glanced at me and gave me a smirk‚ accompanied with a wave of his hand for me. He quickly went to my direction and approached me.
Vaughn and I were together while biking and when we finished we ate, I felt so happy then
I suddenly woke up realizing that it was just a dream. What the hell was that?
I still can't forget what happened in my dream last night and how Vaughn and I felt yesterday. I still remember it clearly.
Before entering my classroom‚ I heard a familiar voice. "Jasvfir" said a very charming voice that's coming from behind. I quickly turned around and Vaughn faced me. He grabbed my arm when I was about to run away from him. "Are you gonna run again? Just like what you did yesterday?" he said in his annoyed but sexy voice.
I just looked at him. "Meet me in the school park later‚ 12pm sharp" he added as he let go of my arm.
I was left speechless. "I? He wants to see you in the park later?" I asked myself with a smile before entering the classroom.
I could see Vaughn from the distance sitting on the bench in the school park but I hesitated to come closer. However‚ I didn't want to make him wait‚ so I immediately approached him.
"I said‚ 12 o'clock but it's almost three" he opened up to me in another annoyed tone. But he quickly lost his annoyance and smiled at me. He made me sit down and that's what I did.
I couldn't hear anything but the voices of the students looking at me‚ but Vaughn and I were just sitting quietly on the bench when he broke the silence. He started talking nonstop about sports‚ books etc. I was very happy to talk with him. I have no idea that he was just hiding some chatter during the length of our conversation.
"I enjoyed talking to you‚ Jasvfir. And you know what? I think I like you‚ and I know that you like me‚ too. I can see it in your eyes" he suddenly said‚ which caused my face to blush.
He just stared at me and I couldn't do anything but say everything. "Yes‚ I like you but what now? Even though I've wanted you for a long time, I can't do anything. Not wrong. I think I already love you‚ Vaughn‚ but there are many girls who like you so what am I against?" I replied to him while biting my lower lip in shame.
I was surprised when he claimed my lips as if it was his property. I tried to pull back yet he grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to deepen the kiss but he immediately stopped. I caught my breath when he let go of our kiss‚ the heat felt as I could still feel his lips on mine but I was thinking‚ "I'm happy to hear all of that" he said while looking at me and smiled. "We'll see each other later. You still look shocked by what happened" he added then kissed me on my forehead.
