Brianna

I was talking to Amanda until we heard high pitched screams.

Yeow! The hell?

I was looking down, trying to get the ringing out of my ear. When I looked up, Harry Styles was behind Amanda. Weird.

WAIT

WHAT

HARRY FREAKING STYLES.

I screamed, Amanda not being aware that HARRY STYLES was behind her.

I

CANT

BREATHE.

Brianna, breathe, breathe.

Harry spoke, that beautiful voice.

"Hello Amanda." What???? How does he know her name? She froze, realizing who it was. She gulped and turned around.

"Hello Harry."

I had mixed emotions. Anger, happiness, surprised, excited, little bit sadness, basically everything. How did he know her name? Twitter maybe? No, she would've told me. I was so confused, so lost. How in the hell did Harry know her name? The way he looked at her, I've never seen. Amanda would've told me she knew him. Right?

Harry

Sweet mother of jesus.

It was Amanda.

A million questions went through my head. How did we end up in the same Starbucks? What if she hates me? What if she doesn't recognize me? I mentally laughed at that thought. I'm Harry Styles, how can she not recognize me?

There was a bit of fans at star bucks, only a few screamed, thank god. We walked in, aware that Louis was jumping up and down because Eleanor worked here. Those two were made for each other.

We took our orders while Lou talked to El. The rest of us went to take our seats. I was talking to Niall when I heard a fan scream and a loud 'what the fuck' and I froze. I knew that voice.

Then, that's when I saw her. it was Amanda. I was taken aback on how much she's grown. Well, I could only see the back of her head, still. I told Niall that I'd be right back.

I walked up behind Amanda, intending her to be surprised, but her friend ruined the surprise. She screamed, realizing who I was.

Well shit.

Amanda looked confused until I spoke.

"Hello Amanda" I cleared my throat, waiting for her reaction.

She froze, and turned around to meet my eyes.

Damn, there was my beautiful best friend.

Her blue eyes widened as she took me in, and honestly I felt a little uncomfortable at the way she was looking at me. She looked angry.

"Hello Harry" I couldn't help myself.

My first instinct was to hug her, taking her scent in. She was stiff at first, but then started to hug me back.  I could feel her smile, so that made me smile. She had changed, a lot. Her hair is longer, she got taller and slimmer, but her eyes didn't change. Her friend, seem very shocked. She must be a directioner because she screamed when she saw me.

We stood there, hugging.

Eventually, we pulled away. Her touch lingered about, leaving me cold.

I realized, all this stuff I've been saying about Amanda, didn't sound like I was her best friend, it sounded like we were...together. I shook away the thought, I don't like her like that and she doesn't like me, right?

Her friend whispered something in Amanda's ear and she nodded.

"So, Harry, why did you come home?" We were talking while her friend, whos name I've come to know is Brianna, went to go get our orders. I shrugged.

"I felt like I needed to be here. Plus I miss my family." It was true, I really missed them.

"Cool." she looked down.

I was nervous, what if she hates me because I left?! She was the one who told me to go and try out. She probably doesn't hate me though, since she hugged back.

"You changed a lot" she said as she grinned, looking at my tattoos.

"And so did you" I replied, looking at her new body features.

She gave me a dirty look and playfully punched me in the shoulder.

"Hey! I meant in a n a good way" I added. She perked her head up and smiled. I smiled back. Then, her smile turned into a frown as her nose crinkled.

"Wheres Brianna? Shes been gone for like ten minutes" Amanda implied, looking around for Brianna.

I looked around, then saw her talking to Niall.

They were both smiling and laughing. They looked like they would be a nice couple.

"They would be a good couple." Amanda said, as if she was reading my thoughts.

"Yeah, they would" I replied, agreeing with her.

It was awkward for a few minutes, as I was watching Amanda fiddled with her bracelet. Its crazy, to a person you've known for many, many years, can act like complete strangers.

She broke the silence,

"I'm going to go get our orders, since Brianna is too distracted by Niall" she smiled, getting up from her seat.

She left, leaving me by myself. I looked around observing people around me. There were these two girls, throwing bits of food at each other, laughing. It reminded me of a memory.

*FLASH BACK*

"Harry, stop!" She said, giggling.

I kept throwing flour at her, making her full of flour.

I was about to run away, laughing, when I felt something sticky in my hair.

"Payback!" She bursted out laughing. She had put egg in my hair, yecch.

"Aaaaah!" I cried out, trying to get the egg out.

I found Amanda, holding her sides, laughing. She found this very amusing.

I grinned, grabbing the brownie batter from behind me. I started coming closer, then when I was close enough, I poured it all over her. Mum might get mad, but it was totally worth it to see the look on Amanda's face.

I doubled in laughter, looking at her face. She frowned, then got this clever grin.

"Hey harry, you know how much of a hugger I am?" She now had this huge smile.

My eyes widened. "No, no, don't you d-"

Before I could run, she got me in this huge hug, I yelled, getting the brownie liquid all over me.

She was full out laughing, and I was grinning. She was hilarious.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

I found myself grinning at the memory. Amanda came back with our orders. She gave me mine and sat down.

"Soo." She looked down awkwardly. It was silence for a few seconds. As I thought about all the memories we had, the more guilty I felt.

"I'm sorry." I blurted. She looked at me, confused.

"For leaving you," I added. "I didn't realize that I was getting this famous" I continued, "I'm sorry we stopped talking, business and all, can you forgive me?" I pleaded. I really didn't want her to be angry with me.

She sighed, looking down at the table. I really need her to forgive me.

She mostly likely won't, I even wouldn't forgive myself.
