4)Thank You.

A/n: this one is a little longer but I didn't want to do a separate chapter. :)

Y/n's pov :

Awhile later, I am tired and decide to go to bed.

Miles didn't want to.

"I'm not tired." he complained.

"miles it is almost 4 am, we have to get back, the sun will rise soon." I say grabbing his hands and pulling him to his feet.

"fine, but can I walk you to your room? " he asks.

Our rooms are literally right next to each other. Screw it, whatever.

"you know what? Sure." I respond shaking my head.

We walk in silence until halfway to the rooms I kind of stumbled, almost falling.

Miles grabbed my hand to stop me from falling. "you really are tired." he said laughing.

"yea, I am." I say laughing too.

I open my room door and as I'm about to walk in and go to sleep when Miles pulls me by my hand towards him, so that our faces are inches apart.

I didn't realize that he didn't let go of my hand.

His eyes shift from my eyes to my lips and back to my eyes. I'm pretty sure I'm blushing dark red.

"goodnight." he whispers to me before letting me go, walking into his room and shutting the door.

I stand there for a few seconds, flustered and frozen in place before turning around, jumping onto the bed and falling asleep. I am exhausted.

I wake up the next morning and remember what happened right before I went to bed.

It was such a simple thing but I was really flustered and blushing bright red. Thank God Miles didn't see me like that, it would have been so embarrassing.

Wait, what time is it? Is everyone else awake?

I go to check my phone but remember it's still dead. I notice that there is a clock in the corner of the room. If it's correct it's 9:30.

That's fine, it's not that late. Everyone probably got up not so long ago.

I get ready and go to the living room where everyone except Kate is eating. Miles and Flora are playing a hand game. Miles is smiling really wide, it's adorable.

I sit down next to Miles and Flora and start eating.

A few minutes later Kate walks in and says good morning.

"miss Katey and her boyfriend are screaming in the dark dark dark dark dark!" Miles sings as he tickles Flora, laughing.

After they quieted down, Kate started talking to Flora and Mrs Grose.

Miles turned to me and whispered, "so did you sleep well?"

I really can't tell if he's genuinely asking or if he knows just how much he flustered me and is being cocky.

"I slept alright, what about you?"
I am not bringing it up if he doesn't first.

"I slept okay." he whispers back.

The phone starts ringing and Flora goes to answer it.

"it's the headmaster at Miles's school, he wants to speak to the person in charge." Flora says as she runs back to her seat.

Mrs Grose gestures for Kate to answer the phone and she does.

Miles looks to me worried.

Oh. Wait, he said he was expelled. Did he tell anyone else about it? I would assume he didn't because he's looking really nervous.
