As the odd couple rounded the bend that ran down Ether St., the traffic almost immediately changed. Cars and bikes and motorcycles went by more like bullet trains. Tobi and Deidara were just about to enter the big apartment complex when Deidara tugged at the end of the elder's sweater sleeve. "Need something, love?" He didn't have to say anything, not even that, just stared into the big glass doors that led to the lobby. He felt Deidara's small hand entwine with his. Cold. Both of them were cold. A smile appeared on Deidara's face. "We'll get you nice and warm when we get inside. And thank you for not complaining. Being plesant today, are we?" "For now." Deidara said just below a whisper, out of hearing range. Perfect. Tobi pushed the door open and dragged Deidara with him. Deidara was much too familiar with this building, his favorite feature being Saeu Ridioma, their nextdoor neighboor. His least favorite feature? The girls in 4-B. They teased him when Tobi wasn't watching for being with another guy. The thing was, they didn't know that other guy was Tobi. Thank the heavens. Tobi took Deidara to their apartment, walking slow and still squeezing his tiny hand. Their apartment was almost at the very end of the hall, but that's not such a bad thing. The desk manager can't hear the.. sounds. Tobi flipped the key out of his pocket and unlocked the door with a click. He pushed the door open. "Go get ready for me."
