If he could silently laugh, he would.

He could only hold back, but it was a really hard task.

You see, lately, since they started to live together after all the chaos that consumed them back a few years ago, his boyfriend has wanted to try cooking. Something that they did not need, but he wanted to. The smaller one had a very special place in his heart for sweets, so he was trying his hardest in not... burning them, or making them too hard to bite, or making them taste like literal shit. They had a very sensible sense of smelling, so it shouldn't be hard.

That's what he thought.

The albino was just silently admiring his boyfriend, as he was clearly annoyed by the fact that once again, he has burned the cookies that he wanted to make.

"But, like, what is so hard anyway? this doesn't make sense." — he asked himself, eating the dark, crumbling cookie he had in his hand.

That was the moment where the blue-eyed couldn't hold his laugh, although it was very subtle, the other noticed quickly.

"What are you laughing about? this is not funny, I'm so sad right now..." — he said, taking another bite.

After a few giggles, the taller answered:

"Baby, don't you think that you should try watching tutorials? i don't think that page that you've been checking is that good, to be honest" — he approached his boyfriend, softly letting his hands rest on the soft surface that was his waist — "maybe they're lying, or writing the recipe the wrong way."

"What's the point of lying and writing poorly things on internet? i still don't get it, seriously, what is wrong with people..." — he looked sadly at his cookie. the poor cookie definitely has seen better days. he threw it out, it wasn't worth eating it.

"I think you missed the very peak of the internet, actually. Lying is their favourite thing to do, it's almost a job at this point" — he said, giving small and soft kisses on the top of the blond's hair — "instead of raging about it, or trying to burn the kitchen for the fifth time, we could do another thing. Maybe we could watch a movie, or take a nap, would you like that?" — his left hand touched very gently the others cheek, and he lowered his head to see the thing he was astonished at. The beauty, grace and delicacy that his beloved one had was definitely out of this world.

"Kurou, don't say the first thing as if I didn't used internet at that moment too" — he looked straight into the albino's eyes, trying to look annoyed, but not so many seconds later, his face relaxed, and he then avoided the other's eyes — "i guess we could watch that show that you've been wanting me to see with you, so yeah, i don't mind."

Kurou smiled, and he carried his boyfriend to the living room. He left him on the sofa, slowly, to moments later do the same. After some minutes, they were both watching TV, quietly cuddling.

It was a peaceful afternoon.
