extended summary ──
Violet Swan was thought to be dead by the police when she disappeared in the middle of the day. Her college professors were immediately worried when they found that she didn't attend her afternoon classes. She had never missed a class before and when she didn't show up to any of them... well, it caused some panic.
After a week of searching, the authorities marked the case closed and her family was told that she was gone, and they were left to bury an empty casket.
But the truth was that she had kidnapped and changed into a blood-sucking creature - a vampire, and that she had gained the ability to create anything out of thin air. She had been kept there for two years until she finally escaped on January 17th, 2005.
Things get complicated as she realized that her mate was a vampire and resided in Forks - and so does her sister, who believes her to be dead.
