"Do you need help with them again...?" You point at the very growing stack of dishes on the counter. Sanji doesn't look affected and he only shakes his head to answer you.

"You sure?" You hope he is.

"I wouldn't want to trouble you anymore." He rolled the sleeves of his button up shirt again, fighting back the urge to light a another cig. You listened to him, getting out a making your way to the main surface.

There you met chopper, his face tilted upwards the sky, reindeer eyes squinting and looking far away somewhere. You followed his eyes with your own, narrowing them to see better.

"Hey chopper-" "AH!-"

your head whips toward him in urgency, gaurds up and muscles ready for a attack. You paused entirely when you looked at his face.

Face covered with a suddenly appearing octopus. The pink sea animal started to stuggle against chopper face while for somereason holding his head. You screamed, not knowing what to do expect for flinging the animal from chopper and throwing it across the deck.

Chopper breathed heavily, wiping his face. "Thank you! Thank you!." He cried.

"Where the hell did a octopus come from?!" You shriek, wiping away the hands you touched it with.

The octopus keeps thrashing on the floor like a fish without water but surprisingly after getting used to the fresh flowing air. "What's all these noise going around?" Franky steps out from the corner, his large form and his feet bumping with the little sea animal. His brows drawn law.

You almost jump away when he picks up the creature and hold it in front of him.

The octopus is wriggling away. Trying to.

"He says let me go!" Chopper voices, suddenly holding onto your calf. You instead pick him up, holding him securely against your chest. His hooves brush over your collarbone.

"Oh right, you can understand him." You mutter.

"What's going on?" That was Nami and slowly everyone slowly starts to form a crowd around the animal. They are all watching in curiosity and amusement. Luffy comes last from the kitchen, apparently still eating his plate. The boy blinks, head more tilted than needs to be.

"Can We eat it?!" Luffy suggests, eye lit up with a not so patient spark. all of you give him a strained look. "What?" He asks in simplicity.

You shake away the question with a back and forth of your head. "Hey chopper, what's it saying?" Zoro speaks. He is still bored but his arms are crossed and his eyes focused.

"He is lost." The doctor explains and you go closer while still holding him so he can supposedly talk to it.

Whatever the animal squeaked out, choppers pupils twitches wide. "How did you end up here?" He questions. The octopus is calmer now, sitting comfortably on franky's metal palm. Your eyes don't know where to look, between chopper and the now very interesting looking sea animal.

"He is separated from his mother." The octopus makes a humming noise to sure the statement.

"MOMMY!!"

All of you choke on air while Luffy chokes on his food. "You can talk!!"

You jump away, tightly helding chopper. "Sea creatures can talk?!" You rasp. "Apparently." Zoro comments. Unfazed.

Robin giggles. "That's cute."

Usopp gives her a weird look. "We should get rid of that t-thing." He stutters, pointing with shaky fingers.

The octopus lunges, gripping your head with his slimy tentacles. You scream, letting go off chopper and hopping back, trying to shake it off but limiting the amount of time you touch him.

It ends up in zoro snatching it away and holding it by just below his head. "You are a weird one." He observes.

The octopus struggles. "You are one to talk! You have green hair for head, you dickhead." He screeches. Sanji bursts out laughing while you try to stiffle.

Zoro's fist tightens. "Watch your mouth."

Luffy is still cackling when zoro is handing the animal back to franky. Throwing it disrespectfully. The creature is a fast talker, bit hesistating to defend it self.

The atmosphere sure Changes faster, quite giggles heard by. "He is funny, we should keep him!" Luffy laughs, voicing all your thoughts. Expect zoro.

To slimy the least, he is one funny octopus but his head is searching around, looking for whatever he desires to before you see legit sadness and lost pouring from him. Your insides sours so you step forward the slightest.

"Where is your mommy?" You ask, recalling the way he yelled it out.

His attention switches to you, observing you for a hot minute before breaking down with thick tears, sniffling and shrinking in smaller to hide his state. Tough act. "She got l-lost." He squeaks, black fog starting to come from under him.

Zoro raises a eyebrow. "She?"

The octopus glares full on him. "O-ok. I got lost but I can't find her anywhere." He corrects, giving everyone side glances. Luffy jumps forward, snatching the octopus in his grip, grinning widely upon him.

"I'll help you find your mommy!" He declares, a hand proudly resting on his waist, ignoring the rude comments from some of his friends at his undiscussed discussion.

"Luffy you can't just-," Nami tries but grumbling her statement when he gives her a stubborn look.

"I am the captain here!"

"Hey! Don't yell at Nami-san!" You already know who that is.

The octopus's eyes widen, looking strangely surprised towards luffy. "Really?!"

The captain gives him a another smile. "Uh-huh!"

This is gonna be weird.
