Chapter 2: Contract

Ellie parked her assistants car in the villa's garaged and got inside the villa.

The villa's amounting up to 1million dollars and also has a good location near the seaside where you can see the sunset when you woke up in your bedroom.

As Ellie entered the villa, she jolted out when she saw Simon Guillan her husband waiting for her in the couch on the living room, sipping on the wine gracefully.

Simon looked up at her with cold eyes then said " Nauna kang umalis sa hotel before me, how come you just got home now?"

Ellie looked at him nervously but then composed herself " I don't think you have the right to talk me like you don't know why in the first place that I entered that hotel."

Ellie looked at her with tears in her eyes as she felt mad but what she shows Simon was how pitiful she was.

Ellie use that trick always, she and Simon where childhood sweetheart, for her, but Simon only saw Ellie as his fathers best friends daughter and didn't even treat her as a friend.

" Don't talk to me as if you didn't beg your dad to marry me. You know I never liked you but you're the one who pushed the marriage and made my dad blackmail me and threaten me with my inheritance."

As Simon talked, his tone grew a lot colder as he spin the wine inside the glass wine his holding.

" I only did that because I love you so much since we were a child, but you don't see me at all. This marriage will give me a chance to make you love me finally."

Ellie looked at him with pleading eyes. Ellie not only plan that, kahit na never syang mahalin ni Simon, she will never let go of him.

When Simon heard that, he scoffed. They were married for a year next month and he still feel nothing at all for her.

Why did she have to try so hard? He will never love her anyway.

He has no grudge against her before, but when she forced him to marry her, he loathed her starting from that point.

"Don't think I'm an idiot and don't know what you really want. Even if I never love you back you won't divorce me anyway." Simon looked at her sarcastically.

Ellie was still standing the 2  steps away from Simon. Ellies' years dropped and sobbed,

" I will only love you in this lifetime and even for the next and the next one but why can't you? Ano bang meron sa babaeng yan na wala ako?"

The truth is Simon was only using Cassa to get rid of Ellie. He never liked her and he never thought of spending the rest of his life with her.

"No thanks, you know that my dad died a few months ago and there's nothing who will stop me now. Whether you like it or not I will divorce you and you'll sign it or else I will make your life a living hell and will treat you worse than a dog. "

Simon told her coldly without even looking at her.

'I'm not pregnant with his baby yet, so he will certainly do everything to get me out of his life!'.

Ellie panicked, " Fine! I agree! Okay! I will divorce you, but on one condition."

Ellie looked at him, still standing. " I won't accept it if I saw a hidden trick in there" Simon.

Ellie sigh and said with her eyes, watery " Give me a week, after that I'll sign without hesitation."

Simon then stands up and faced her "That's all? Don't play any tricks and....
tell me why do you want a week?"
