Chapter 25: Retrofit Time

Welcome back for more of Red Dead Royal where in the last chapter we saw Prinz inform about her pregnancy while Ghostwolf planning the event at the Sakura Empire festival and in this chapter we are going to talk about Retrofit. Enjoy the chapter.

Commander's Office

Queen POV

It was a another boring day in the Royal Navy since everything is done which of course Ghostwolf did most of the work and we are still waiting for him to arrive from his cafe of Iron Maiden while Warspite is pouring tea to ease our boredom.

QE(sigh): "Bored... Remarkably, We've finished all our official business and Ghostwolf did all the paperwork."

Warspite: "Such a respite is a good thing, your majesty."

QE: "I know that, of course. "sipping the tea". Hm? It's sweet!"

Warspite: "I added a heap of sugar. Always loved my black tea extra sweet back in the day."

This tea was better than Belfast, but she would get mad to hear that we put extra sugar in the tea and she is not for someone to mess with when comes to tea time.

Warspite: "It's been a while since I made tea for your majesty. I suppose I was reminiscing a bit."

QE(happy): "Heh Heh. Yes, indeed. How long has it been, I wonder? I miss those times. I wonder Ghostwolf will arrive here; he is late?"

Warspite: "Maybe he got in trouble with Prinz Eugen since she is pregnant and wouldn't make it for discussion."

We continue to talk about Ghostwolf until someone wants to enter the office.

???: "Um... Yer Majesty, do you 'ave a moment?"

It was Suffolk at the other side of the door.

I allow her to enter and once she enter the office I sense something different about her which she notice my thoughts.

QE: "Why do I sense something different about you?"

Suffolk: "So... Yer Majesty noticed then? What do ye think tergether? Do I look alright?"

QE(confuse): "Looks splendid. But, why?"

???: "Surprised ya, did I NYA?"

It was Akashi who is behind Suffolk and told us that Suffolk has been retrofit.

Akashi: "A kind of badass power up that gets 'em all talking about you NYA! We can only do retrofits on ships the Admiralty gives the plans for NYA."

I didn't know about this, but this will benefit me so I demand Akashi to retrofit me.

QE: "Akashi, darling! Retrofit me."

Akashi: "Did you hear a word I said NYA? My hands are tied, NYA. If I don't got the retrofit plans, there's nothing I can do nya."

QE(angry): "I order you to do something about it!!!"

Akashi: "This is animal cruelty nya."

I continue to shake Akashi until she admit to my demands and she gives in.

Akashi: "I'll try to feel it out with the brass, but no promises nya. But why not ask about how they choose who gets a retrofit in the first place? We got retrofitted girls here nya."

She is right and so we are on our way to find those girls until Ghostwolf arrive late and he looks tired.

Ghostwolf(tired): "Sorry I'm late, but was hold by certain someone who likes to bite me."
