**AU: Smoky doesn't die**

**Y/N was a young teen, two years younger than Smoky and she witnessed her parents murder, which traumatized her to become mute, and she went into hiding in Rude Boys Territory. She blended in with most people but was caught by Smoky's friends. They brought her to him, and she was terrified. He ordered them to leave them alone and he took his jacket off and wrapped it around her. She felt safe for the first time and she looked into his eyes and she managed to talk for the first time in years**

Y/N's POV~

I was taken to the leader of Rude Boys and I was terrified. I didn't know how things worked when it comes to gangs, except they have violent tendencies. "Leave us alone, I'd like to talk to her in private for now." The person I assume to be the leader said, and they nodded and left. He walked over to me and I flinched back in fear, trembling. He did something that surprised me. He took off his jacket and wrapped it around me, and I looked up into his eyes. "Hi, my name is Smoky. You don't have to be afraid of me or of anyone here. You'll be safe here." He said, and gently patted my head. I teared up and tried to speak for the first time in many years. "It's alright, take your time." He said, and for the first time, I felt safe. 

I nodded and took a deep breath. "M-M-My name...is...Y/N.." I said,surprised, at my own voice. He looked surprised as well. "Y/N? That's a really pretty name. Well,Y/N...what happened to make you so afraid?" Smoky asked, and I teared up. "A few years ago, when I was a child..I witnessed these scary men murder my parents. They wanted to play a hunting game, so they let me live, but they told me to never talk about the incident, so they are currently hunting me down to kill me, but it's been hard for them, since the trauma caused me to be mute...until you set me free. I can't explain it but I feel safe here." I said, and he smiled. "I'm glad, from now on, you have a home here. Stay by my side, and we'll protect you. I'll talk to S.W.O.R.D about this, and we'll see if we can get rid of those men for you." Smoky said, and I hugged him without hesitation.

-a few years go by-

I had fallen  in love with Smoky during my stay here, and his sister was my best friend. Lala sent the other boys away to give me and Smoky some alone time. I went over and sat next to him as he slept. I wrapped my arm around him, and pulled him to me gently. I let his head rest on my shoulder, before leaning my head against his gently. "Thank you for giving me a home, and a new beginning. I love this place...and I love you, Smoky." I whispered, smiling. I was grateful he was asleep, but suddenly warm arms wrapped around my waist, and Smoky's forehead was leaned against mine, our eyes meeting. "I love you too, Y/N." He said, and gently stole my first kiss. I kissed him back the best I could, and we pulled away. "No one will ever hurt you again, I promise." Smoky said, smiling.
