Moondrop POV
" Come on (Y/n), M-O-O-N, Moon" I said. (Y/n) didn't say anything, she just sat down, stared up at me, and blinked her little ( e/c) eyes. I sighed.
It's currently been a month since I adopted (Y/n) and I've been trying to get her to say her first word for weeks ! But so far nothing.
I looked at the clock and realized it was (Y/n)'s feeding time. I picked up (Y/n) and placed her in the high chair in the kitchen.
" I'll be right back with your
( favorite vegetable) baby food (Y/n)" I said.
I went to the kitchen, grabbed the little jar and a spoon and went back to
(Y/n). Who happily hit her little hands on the table. Her little way of saying she couldn't wait any longer for food.
" Open up (Y/n), say ah" I said. I knew she wouldn't really say 'ah' but saying that makes her open her mouth wide.
After feeding her Sun walked into the kitchen.
" Moon, it's close to naptime" Sun said. I looked at the time, one in the afternoon.
" Oh it is, Sun watch (Y/n), I'll be right back my little starlight" I said then left.
Fifteen minutes later ~
After I got the children sleeping I quickly made my way back to the kitchen where Sun was playing with
(Y/n). As soon as she saw me she reached out her little arms and...
" P....P...Papa!" She said.
...
I rushed over and picked her up.
" Did you just say-
" Papa !" (Y/n) said.
" Are you calling me ?-
" Papa !" (Y/n) said again.
" uh..um.." I said.
" Papa ?" (Y/n) Said, looking confused and a little sad.
...
I hugged (Y/n) closely.
" Papa sounds better than Moon" I said.
" Awww !~ You two are so cute !" Sun said.
" Thanks Sun you just ruined the moment " I said.
