Chapter Sixteen: Announcing the Engagement

Rhiannon's POV

The weekend went by pretty quickly. I was glued to Christian the whole time. Me and Justin told him about the engagement. He was happy for us. Now we have to introduce Christian to the Pack and tell them about the engagement. Selly is going to be ecstatic. The party is toni- "Rhiannon!" A tanned Selly called through the door. I smiled and got up and hugged her. I said 'Hi!' to everyone else. I then dragged Selena to Justin and I's room. "Do you need to tell me something?" she asked confused. I nodded, biting my lip,"Justin-" I started but she cut me off. "Got you pregnant!" she said. I gave her a strange look, snaking my head,"We're - he - proposed to me!" I said. Sel's jaw dropped,"Oh my god! Rhiannon! When, where, how, why! I mean not why. But y'know what I mean!" she yelled, hugging me. I started,"He took me on a date a couple of days ago. We went to the beach, had dinner and went swimming. After we got out of the water he pulled out a little purple box. I saw it and I knew what he was doing. He said these exact words,'Rhiannon Love Decontie, I loved you from the moment I saw you. I knew I had to make you mine. So far, it's working. I love you now and for all eternity. Will you marry me?'" I said. Sel freaked the flack out. Haha. I like One Direction. "Obviously, I said yes! Well, I didn't exactly says yes. I said,'I thought you'd never ask.' Which means yes! So yeh! I said yes!" I said happily. We skipped down stairs where everyone was. Justin had already announce the party deets for tonight. The party started at 9:00 PM. This should be a fun night. No sarcasm there.

-3 Hours Later-

The party starts in 10 minutes. Me, Selly, Shona, and Nicki were getting ready together. We finished getting ready in record time. Haha. 20 minutes and we were all ready. We walked down stairs, we had 2 minutes left. We walked to the ball room, which I have never been in to. I walked over to Justin who was talking to some of the newer members of the Pack. When he saw me he did a double take, I honestly don't know why. I walked over and closed his mouth,"Hey Baby," I said. He sobered up and handed me a drink,"I don't drink, Justin," I said seriously. He gave me a confused look and encouraged me to take the alcoholic beverage. I shook my head and push the drink back into his hand. He chuckled,"Why not?" he questioned me. I shrugged,"Never tried it. Never wanted to," I explained. He nodded,"Drink one. For me?" he said giving me his puppy dog eyes. I sighed and walked the other way,"No wait! Pleeaase!" he pleaded. Why? I don't know. "Fine. One, only because you're annoying the fuck out of me!" I said matter-of-factly. He chuckled and handed me a drink. I looked at it and sipped it. "Not that bad, is it?" he stated. I shook my head, chugging the rest so I could go do something else. He looked at me amazed. "What?" I said. "How? Wha? Impossible!" he exclaimed. I laughed and walked over to the girls,"Hey Chica!" Selena exclaimed. I giggled at my nickname. "Sup!" I replied. She handed me a drink. Here we go again! "I don't drink," I said over the loud music that just started playing. How convenient! "Why?" she yelled back. I shrugged,"Never did it. Never wanted to," I yelled back. "Well, you should try some," she handed me a glass. I sighed and took the glass, chugging the cold liquid. It burned my throat.

I shrugged and walked back over to Justin, who was now with Ry and Chaz. I'm still upset with Ryan. When I got there Ry backed up a couple steps. I heard him mumbling something like,'Please don't hurt me!' over and over again. I giggled,"Whether I hurt you or not is up to you, Ryan. I'm still a bit mad at you," I explained. He backed up behind Chaz,"I understand," he said in a small voice. I laughed and turned to Justin who looked a little scared too,"Are you ok, Justin?" I asked concerned. He nodded, hesitantly. I sighed and put my head down, walking away. "Rhiannon, wait!" I heard Chaz say. I looked up at him,"What?!" I snapped. He gestured for me to follow him, so I did.

We walked outside away from everyone,"Rhiannon, are you okay?" he asked with concern. I shook my head, no use in lying. "What's wrong?" he asked putting his hands on my shoulders. "I don't like being feared! It's annoying when no one wants to be around you because they are scared to get hurt by you!" I snapped, falling to the ground where I sat and cried it out. Chaz bent down, rubbing my back. "Rhi, no one is scared of you. Well, maybe Ryan. But, that's just him. He's an idiot! Justin. He's just a bit intimidated by you. Isn't that a good thing?" Chaz tried, but failed, to comfort and reassure me. I shook my head,"No! It's not a good thing! He doesn't even wanna be around me!" I wailed. Chaz didn't seem scared or intimidated by me at all. Hm, weird. "Come on. We are gonna go get Justin and talk this through," he said getting up. He held his hand out for me. I took it and got up. He put his arm around my shoulders and walked me back into the party. No one noticed I was crying except Selly. "Chaz, what did you do?" she said in a warning tone. He flinched back. "He didn't do anything. Justin did," I said. Sel nodded,"Well, if you need me to break his face I'll be over here!" she said running to Shona and Nicki. I sighed and kept walking with Chaz. We reached Justin, Ryan and Christian,"Justin, here now," Chaz ordered. He followed us back outside. "So what's up with you and Rhi?" Chaz questioned. He shrugged. I sighed and backed up a step or two. "He thinks no one wants to be near her! She thinks that even you don't wanna hang out with her because of her anger!" Chaz exploded. "But-" Justin started. "No! No buts! I don't wanna hear it!" Chaz said in a irritated voice. They went silent, I think they were using the wolf connection.
