From a very young age, Holly Krewson dreamed of stardom. Holly at a young age competed in beauty pageants. But life wasn't all glitz and glamour for Holly. At the young age of 11, Holly was molested by a trusted family friend. A few years later her parents divorced. Soon after this when Holly's mother Gwen Krewson noticed Holly starting to change. "When she got into her middle teens, I think she started hanging around with the wrong crowd and kind of lost interest in the dancing and the pageants. She wanted to be a grown-up." Holly dropped out of school becoming a waitress. Holly ended up getting into an abusive relationship. Several times her boyfriend was arrested for beating Holly, but every time Holly took him back. Gwen claims she didn't see Holly that much. In the spring of 1995 Holly visited her at work. Unbeknownst to Gwen, this would be the last time she would see Holly. Gwen looked for Holly with no luck. When Gwen reported Holly missing to the police she was told there was nothing they could do due to Holly being an adult and there was no evidence of foul play. Two years after first being reported missing the police started to look closer into Holly's boyfriend's criminal past. On Holly's 30th birthday Gwen's search was published in the newspaper, a psychic named Joyce saw the newspaper and then claimed to get visions of the missing girl. Joyce claimed that Holly left California to escape her abusive relationship. She also claimed to believe Holly was treated in a hospital named Marymount and that the towns Marysville and Kenwood were of great significance. Three months later would get a phone call that would give her the hope she needed. "I hear this weak little voice say, 'Hi, Mama.' and I didn't hear anything. And I said, 'Who is this?' And the voice said, 'Holly,' kind of strained like she was crying. And I said, 'Holly, is that you?" The caller also claimed to be in Ohio. However, these connections lead nowhere. Despite calling hospitals all around Ohio they were not able to release medical records even if Holly was treated there. Soon the authorities found another promising lead when the owner of a campground in La Mesa reported seeing Holly a few months after she disappeared. According to Detective Brown"Holly Krewson, her boyfriend, and one other person, the last name of Humby, were up at a campground in Julian, California. Throughout the weekend, Holly's boyfriend was creating trouble. It sounded like he was drinking too much and creating just general disturbance. They were finally asked to leave and as they left the campground, the boyfriend pointed a gun at the owner and threatened to come back and shoot him, because they were being kicked out of the park."A year after Holly disappeared, skeletal remains were found near San Diego. Dental records later confirmed that the remains were those of Holly Krewson. Authorities won't release any details other than to say her case is now considered a homicide. This is now an ongoing case any details or tips should go directly to the proper authorities.
